is anyone else wierded out that the dragon princess girl is technically 14yrs old according to the story - even though shes played by an adult actress - and that old dude still wants to be inside her?

 

Some TV series characters have different ages than their book counterparts.

 

A couple of the Stark children, Daenerys, and Cersei's brats were all aged up in the TV series compared to the books. Tommen for example is crowned king when he is 9 years old. Obviously TV series Tommen is older...probably 17 or 18 during Season 5.

Serving the realm? Bullshit he just feels entitled. I suppose to some extent he always has been but I sort of thought he had a bit more to him then this. There's literally no one and nothing he wouldn't sacrifice and no line he wouldn't cross to get it. And why is him being king so important he needs to destroy so many lives? More entitlement. The fanatical whisper in his ears have taken over and he just follows them blindly as long as it will get him what he wants most.

While I don't think things'll happen the same in the book, there's a big difference between Stannis pursuing the crown for his legacy and pursuing it because he believes he's the only one who can unite Westeros against the White walkers.

Despite the scene, I have to say that the actress did a tremendous job. She has been top of the line all the way. Probably one of the best castings on the show.

I know I'm a little late, but I agree. Why does leeching a bastard result in instant assassins, but setting kids on fire is needed for a sunny day...? The Lord of Light is a dick.

She's more like 20 in the t'v series now though. Drogo raped her 3-4 years ago. Than she fall in love with her rapist husband. Stockholm Syndrome to the fullest.
