Support that melted like butta. As Catelyn said of Renly's camp, they were the knights of summer.

Melted after he died, no?  What were they supposed to do instead?  Go north and hope he could be zombified?

The Tyrells should have declared for the one true King and helped Stannis win what is his by right

What have the northerners done since Robb Stark was killed? Like, say, the Blackfish and Wyman Manderley?

Have you been paying attention to Arya's subplot? The Stranger is one of the Seven.

There are no angel wings here.

The many face god was worshiped in ancient Persia, it was the dawn of Hashashashin (assassin). They would say phrases that directly translates to "a/the man has many faces" and "I am no one". Its a direct transition to the series.

The stranger is aspect of death and he is never prayed to in Westeros. I didn't pay attention since he and his worshipers are literally a cult that exist in Essos while the seven are majorly worshiped on Westeros.. Plus the house of black and white is dedicated to many gods with aspect of death, the stranger is only one of them.

Doesn't that same argument make Tommen the rightful ruler of Westeros over Stannis?

Indeed it does, and they are looking at the whole thing from the viewer aspect. Forgetting the fact that fewer than ten people know Tommen does not have Baratheon blood, literally everyone think he does.

And this makes the Seven the bringers of good and light how?

well someone's gotta educate the first men, plus those trees are creepy

The stranger, like other seven, does not answer those prayers. The House of Black and White, a temple dedicated to the Many-Faced God contains a public shrine with idols of many death gods from different religions, including the Stranger. So he is merely a decoration in temple of many faced god.

The angel of death is not evil either, the stranger is the same.

And you know this how? This sounds suspiciously convenient.

The Seven do not speak or answer to prayers, at least not directly. If they do so in a subtle way like the god we know of, then I have no knowledge of it, no one does actually. You can't even prove they exist.

One thing I never quite understood was this: Is the Many-Faced God the same as the Lord of Light?

no, the Many-Faced God is the embodiment of death

Doubtful, based on what I understand he is the god of death. Whether other gods of death who have shrine in house of black and white are him in other religions or he is their leader is unknown atm. But the many-faced god tells the man with many faces who needs to die, and he obliges.

Its a local religion though, unique to Braavos

So why did Jaqen H'ghar say he was following the Red God when we first met him? Was that a mistake in the script? Or was he for some reason hiding the god he worshiped by not his profession?

not really, the Many-Faced God is all of the Gods of Death as he is quite simply Death itself

Well the Freys and the Boltons aren't exactly loyal to his memory.  And there's the Karstarks, too.

Manderley seems to be mostly looking for personal vengeance, and the Tullys haven't been offered the advantageous terms that were available to the Tyrells.

Did he actually say he served the red god? I thought he said she stole 3 deaths from the red god ie saved them from being burned. Unfortunately, there is so much detail in this story, it is tricky to remember everything.

No, what did Tommen conquer?

So? It's his right by the Lannisters defeating Stannis' armies in battle.

Stannis is not destroyed though. If Tommen kills Stannis and his line (well, just him now unfortunately) then he can be king, until he's knocked off by someone stronger.

Indeed it does, and they are looking at the whole thing from the viewer aspect. Forgetting the fact that fewer than ten people know Tommen does not have Baratheon blood, literally everyone think he does.

Check your facts. Everyone knows the so-called princes are bastards. It's just that no one but Ned is dumb enough to say that to their faces without an army at their back.

Not everyone. It's unclear exactly how many people know about or believe Stannis's letters. Ned didn't know about it until he uncovered the trail of clues and confronted Cersei. Same with Jon Arryn. Renly was genuinely surprised and started to consider it when he briefly met with Stannis.

"I know about the promise … Maester Theomore, tell them! A thousand years before the Conquest, a promise was made, and oaths were sworn in the Wolf's Den before the old gods and the new. When we were sore beset and friendless, hounded from our homes and in peril of our lives, the wolves took us in and nourished us and protected us against our enemies. The city is built upon the land they gave us. In return we swore that we should always be their men. Stark men!"

Armies loyal to him defeated armies loyal to Stannis. Even though it was before he was king, they were still loyal to the Lannister cause and thus ensure that he sits on the Iron Throne instead of Stannis. Also Daenerys isn't destroyed either, but neither she nor Stannis are actually able to rule Seven Kingdoms at this point. So in practical terms, until they are able to use force to change things, they have about the same right to the throne.

I seem to remember some commoners insinuating it when Tyrion was walking around in season 2. And wasn't that bard that got his tongue cut out punished for it as well?

Daenerys ran away (or was carried away by people who ran). Stannis retreated. Not the same thing. Stannis even says that people will start thinking this of him if he keeps retreating.

That's a rather arbitrary distinction. Daenarys hasn't abandoned the quest for her throne any more than Stannis has. The show makes it clear that most people don't really care who sits on the throne.

Of course it's arbitrary. It's definition. But an important one.

The Blackfish pee'd so long that his penis got stuck to the tree. He now offers riddles to passing travelers in exchange for candy and well wishes on their journey.
