Not seriously? Patchface.
Half-seriously? Jon Snow or the Night's King.
Seriously? Dany Sue.

About Dany's break the wheel speech...
I didn't notice it the first time, but she includes her own house in that speech. Initially I just took it be her usual bluster and about breaking all the houses responsible for the fall of House Targaryen, but on a second viewing I noticed she names her own house as well as being part of the problem she intends to break. I wonder then if that wasn't just bluster and she's got something specific in mind regarding the way Westeros is governed.
Westerosi Magna Carta?
I personally don't think someone who has never actually been to Westeros (Dragonstone doesn't technically count) really deserves a say in what goes on in the kingdom.

Please no!
She's soooo stupid. Westros deserves a leader that is less stupid.

Heh... her house is done for anyway*, so why not ruin the fun for the other great houses?
* it is, isn't it? Leaving theories and Mirri Maz Duur's prophecy about her infertility aside: With her as the last, female, member of House Targaryen, whatever kids she will have are of the fathers dynasty, right? Or did I understood something wrong in the "Westerosi Inheritance 101"?
Technically she could have a matrilineal (sic?) marriage which would make any children she has of her dynasty.
Please no!
She's soooo stupid. Westros deserves a leader that is less stupid.

While also being stupid.
I agree with you entirely.
I just hope that Martin has a plan to subvert her position in the stories. As it is, she's too much of a miss perfect.

I actually didn't totally hate her in Game of Thrones, and tolerated her kind of boring storyline in Clash of Kings. In Storm of Swords, I remember being skeptical at how easy she was having it and thinking that what she did in Astapor was pretty low and could come back to bite her later. And after Dance of Dragons and all of the cruel and/or idiotic decisions she made, I wouldn't shed a tear if Drogon ate her.
Everyone else has pretty much said whatever I would have: She has no idea who it was she actually crucified (she later marries Hizdahr; wonder how much he knew about the crucified slave children?), she tortures people for information systematically, she's indecisive at the worst times, she's entitled and immature, she can't take good advice, she has blinders on when it comes to her family, on and on and on. Her city is starving and the Astapori are starving and yet she always seems to have plenty of lamb and fruit and whatever else she eats. I also think that by pitting her against foes who are either incompetent or easily bought off, Martin is lulling readers into a false sense of security by making them think she's more clever or competent than she really is. Put her up against a Tywin Lannister or a Randyll Tarly and see how she does. And after seeing her justify everything she does by saying, "I have dragons!" or "I'm the blood of the dragon!" I just want to see her do a karmic faceplant. Someone should tell her that "dragons" in her family tend to chug wildfire to attempt to set cities on fire.
Oh and there's also the matter of her sitting opposite the Green Grace, aka The Goddamn Harpy, and stupidly blurting out every ****** idea and strategy that pops into her head while they share honeyed figs. "Oh no, I could never hurt the hostages, they're so sweet." And the Grace has to be thinking, "Can you believe this ****?"

Tommen didn't conquer anything. Stannis lives and has rebuilt his forces.
Tommen sits his seat, and Stannis didn't permit it, it's a technicality of conquest.

Tommen and Joffrey never conquered the throne from Stannis.
A technicality of conquering, as I said. You can win a throne without spilling a drop of blood, and technically that's what they did, if you want to count them as Lannisters, which they pretty much are.
Also, never let it be said I support the little ****. I want Stannis on there. Maybe Jon

My money's on either Stannis or the Night's King.
As for Daenerys, I have this suspicion that she's just a giant Decoy Protagonist. Same with Jon.

Tyrion I am for sure, but not as a Lannister.

Jon Snow & Daenerys as king & queen.
Targaryens gonna Targaryen.
Stannis will be dead by series end. So will Tommen, Myrcella, Littlefinger, both Boltons, Reek/Theon, Margaery Tyrell, Mace Tyrell, Cersei, and Jaime.

I'm not sure I can see Jon Snow taking the throne. He's basically the closest thing GoT has to a protagonist, him coming out on top would seem a bit too...predictable I guess?
I think he'll probably be the main force in defeating the White Walkers, Azor Ahai and such, but king? Hmm.

Maybe. I see him having a bigger destiny as well.
As has been stated before, there are 3 characters generally acknowledged to be the protagonists, such as they are, of the series up to this point: Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, and Tyrion Lannister. I'm really hoping that it's not predictable on how the story centers around those 3.

Personally I don't want anyone on the iron throne. I want the throne to be reduced to a smoldering puddle, or at the bottom of a freshly opened chasm.

ok rundown time. Who do you people think will win the iron throne?
Dolorous Ed
But seriously who I want to be ruler of Westeros would be Doran Martell. Smart, patient, methodical man. And not a cruel one either. Yes he may be ruthless (which I think is different to cruelty and a trait which is kind of required of a ruler) but he won't harm people he does not see as deserving of harm (if he can help it).
Who do I think will be ruler of Westeros? Honestly I'm half expecting the bloody chair to be destroyed by the end of it, maybe by dragonflame. It would have a certain poetic justice to it. Forged in dragonflame and destroyed by it.
