So Stannis is probably dead (not certain until we see a body, albeit I've no idea what his story could be if he's alive nor why would Brienne spare him). I kinda hope he's dead. The show has treated him horribly then jettisoned him. FIne, whatever, more room for Dany Sue and Saint Tyrion. Just leave Stannis in peace. The entire battle for Winterfell was also impressively low-budget and anticlimatic, especially after the masterpiece that was Hardhome.
Arya's now 100% more cold-blooded but unfortunately has 0/20 eyesight so she won't be able to stare intently at her targets like before, 'cause obviously that's what subtle master assassins do. Jokes aside, that was a good scene and appropriately gory. The follow-up was really creepy too.
Sansa's story basically amounted to just being Jeyne Westerling from the book and picking a lock? Meh. If the writers are going to make stuff up, it should at least be exciting. Nice to see Theon back in business and wipe that smug smirk out of that girl's face.
Daario being the voice of reason? That was weird, but it does make him a much better character than his book counterpart (which isn't hard but still). No idea what the hell Varys is doing in Meereen when the books have him being busy in King's Landing, but I suppose since Aegon is dropped Varys really is Team Dany Sue fo reals.
Speaking of her, that scene was kinda funny with Drogo as the teenager wh refuses to get out of bed and Dany as the mom who calls him a lazy bum. Also, that was a crapload of natives Dothrakis.
Walk of Shame happened pretty much exactly how I pictured it. Well done to the crew. Unfortunately, to me Cercei is morally bankrupt so I didn't feel a lot of pity fo her, but it did its job. Albeit Qyburn being so concerned about Cercei's health was a bit weird. And Robert Strong is clearly an undead Darth Vader under that helm, no idea how he's fooling anyone. Also, Lena probably used a body double, and Cercei looks pretty damn good for a woman in her forties that had three children.
For The Watch!... and down with the context of that entire scene! Why in the blazes did Alistair let Jon and the Wildlings enter if he was going to shank him anyway, with no new developments (IE a certain letter of a certain color) being shown to trigger a change of hearts? No Ghost either?
Also, anyone who thinks Jon Snow is truly dead is naive. Who's going to fight the Others, Olly?
