That's the surest way to kill him.

And somehow, Sansa will end up getting beaten and raped.

My money is on Coldemort and the Deathbeaters taking the Wall in Season 6.

I'm still pissed that we never got Val (the Wildling Princess).

Then again, she'd end up being a blonde version of Ygritte. Though a million times more entertaining, and having much better chemistry with Jon.

He did that to Gendry. Poor dude is still rowing that boat somewhere...

If he rows harder, he might just make into Season 6.

At least he's not alone...

So did they just want to **** over everyone they didn't like to get them out of the way or...?

I don't even know who's left that's worth rooting for. Daenerys and Tyrion you're supposed to like by default. Tyrion at least has wit and charm to go along with his plot armor. Daenerys on the other hand is just pretty and clearly the Designated Winner™. Woohoo.

The Tyrells maybe? I just hope Olena and Margaery can figure out how to make the latter appealing to the Night King or whatever. If they bite it too it may be time to bail.

I don't know who is worth rooting for either. I dont't like Daenerys she seems to have no opinion of her own and always relise on the wrong people.  I do like Tyrion, he's probably my favorite out of the characters left but haven't been overly impressed with him this season I found his arch kind of boring. I liked Arya last season when she was with the Hound but have gone off her this season, I'm really not a big fan of the House of Black and White as a concept.

So next year I'll probably watch until they kill off Tyrion. Then just give up as everybody else is boring.

Jaime is the last person who we 100% know is alive that I can root for. Maybe Sansa, if they actually stop making her into the chew toy for the shows resident psycho of the season.

And Bronn, Davos, and LF of course. Anyone else is... meh. I suppose I'd support Bran as well. I mean, there are a load of lesser characters I'd support and like, but as far as main characters go, Jaime is really the last one that I care about. Bronn, LF, Davos, and Bran (at this point) are all more secondary characters.

Of course, this all precludes the possibility that Stannis and Jon are still alive. Jon is dead, but we're all 90% sure that it's not going to be permanent. Stannis has the more ambiguous fate, with no death actually shown.

How can it be boring! It has God King Ramsay and his 20 Good men!

Think of all the things they can flay to be super edgy!

Imma cut myself to death on that edge!

After you've cut a man's equipment off though everything else is an anticlimax. I find the Bolton's as dull as dish water.

Ramsay anyway. Roose is more or less just a guy who shakes his head disapprovingly at Ramsay nowadays.

"Do your duty."

Would Brienne have interpreted her duty as rescuing Sansa? Stannis may be more useful to her alive than dead if she interprets the Boltons a greater obstacle to performing her duty than Stannis.

If she did kill Stannis, which is entirely possible, it was an odd choice by the showrunners to have the conclusion to that confrontation be somewhat ambiguous. If you're going to kill him, why have his death occur outside the camera's lens?

Watch the first shot of season 6 be Stannis' head tied to Podrick's saddlebags, just to make things clear. :S

Jaime has some good qualities but he doesn't impress me much. I fell that the Lannisters are on their way out after Tywin's death. It may take a while but the only way I think they'll survive is through Tyrion. Unless his plot armor breaks. Sansa has never impressed me. It seemed like they were starting her on the path of "playing the game" and not being victimized... but then Ramsey happened. I do wish she'd catch a break though.

Bronn and Davos have no purpose themselves. They act at the whim of others. I'm glad Bronn's still alive but I'm not sure if he'll keep hanging with the Lannisters. That was a close call. Davos has no purpose now, not sure what he'll do. Littlefinger, I'm also meh about. I respect his scheming but I'm not really invested in his character. Bran might just become the deus ex machina for the whole White Walker problem.

I believe Jon can come back, but I doubt Stannis will, despite the odd cutaway. I don't think he should either. They **** all over him and so he lost everything that can be lost, and in every way he can lose. I suppose I should be thankful he didn't end up on Ramsey's cross. But just let him die a dignified death at least. He has nothing, let him return to nothing.

Not sure if that's directed towards me or not, but given that it's becoming increasingly clear that the books matter less and less I'm just going to ignore it.

Besides, my personal policy is I'm not reading the books until both series are done. I don't feel like waiting or comparing them all the time.

So obviously anything I say is only based on what I've observed in the show.

Called it. I said this show was turning into a train wreck when they killed off Barristan Selmy. It had its problems before, but the writers were at least following a vague outline of the books, now, it's like watching a pair of idiots stoned out of their mind write a script wearing hipster glasses. Predictably, it's a ****** mess.

Up until this season I had watched the show, because although it annoyed the **** out of me as a book reader it was a spectacle and helped me visualize locations/characters.

When I saw the leaked episodes though I wanted to smash the show runners in the face. Sansa marrying Ramsay?! That was the last straw for me. Then they killed Selmy then they kill Stannis.

Selmy  got a pretty moronic death. Characters are in the story for a reason. Each of them contribute in some way to drive the story forwards. Cut Show-Selmy out of the story and you wouldn't notice it. He shows up. Talks sometimes. Dies like a pimp in some alley, along with some unsullied. The best fighters in the world vs some nobles with daggers and no military training = the nobles wins. The whole thing was so dumb, I cringed. They could have had him take a spear for Dany in the arena instead. But then again they stopped throwing spears as soon as they had a long clear shot at her.

Selmy, is like a medieval Obi -wan, and that doesn't come close to doing the man justice, I also thought the actor was great at portraying him too.

Frankly they've just screwed the entire civil war between Meereen and Yunkai. Selmy is central to holding the city state together, while dealing with the Sons of the Harpy undermining the city from within.... but nooooo that's not edgy enough for these twats, that's far too complicated instead we'll kill him off and go in search of Dani Sue

The actor was fantastic. The show runners have lost it completely, though. Season 1-3 were great. But after that they figured they were better writers than GRRM, and they screwed up. At this point they have gone so far they can't even repair anything.

Season 6 will be about the adventures of Theon and Sansa, as they flee from Ramsey. Ramsey will be chasing them with dogs, of course. And kill off people Theon and Sansa encounter. Need Ramsey for shock value.
