I reckon there should be two separate threads for this. One with spoilers and one without so that so those who haven't read the books don't have to fear of seeing something that has yet to happen.

Check out some of the art by John Picacio for the 2012 ASoIaF calendar. It is awesome.

I still don't see it. It's a decently done artist's rendition. I like it. My only nitpick is I would have drawn her eyes slightly different considering her condition at the end of AFfC.

Too beautiful. Arya should have been uglier.

That Joff kid looked like trouble from the start. I do not understand Sansa's insistent enamor of him, even after he tried to beat up the kitchen boy and then had her dire-wolf killed. It probably makes more sense in the books. Hopefully she finally sees him for what he is.Addai67 wrote...

Manly Man King... lol. So true. You can see it in his little hesitation and calling them "weak women." It's totally daddy issues coming back to bite him in his little royal ass. Though it's also mommy's chickens come home to roost. Behold your little monster, Cersei, a spitting image.

The main issue I had with the episode was the fact that they told rather than showed when it came to capturing Jaime for the most part. I don't mind that they skipped Tyrion but I think it would have added some more tension to show Robb getting into the fight and Jaime just being a badass. It's a shame how Jaime's skills haven't really been shown. Makes the impact of a later event less.

Arya is actually said to resemble Lyanna (Ne'd's dead sister). It's mentioned a few times in the book. And Lyanna was apparently quite good looking.
Arya is simply young, and not exactly "ladylike". classic tomboy.

I thought in the books, Arya and Jon Snow have Ned's homliness (a kind of "long face"), while the other children look more like their mother. In fact Arya is referred to as "Arya Horseface" at one point.
I'm glad HBO went in a different direction with the casting; however. All the Stark children are now quite photogenic (and portrayed by talented young actors).

Why, because kids teased her? Kids say stupid stuff that doesn't necessarily bear on reality.Capt. Obvious wrote...

Wow, Sean Bean is a total badass
Sean Bean stabbed in bar fight, keeps drinking. "One does not simply WALK into an emergency room."
He chased the guy at first. I'm betting he's pretty buff.Shirosaki17 wrote...
Actually from that article it sounds like he got his ass kicked and then the cops showed up, but who knows. Can't believe he's 52. Geez.

Yeah it's obvious he knew about the length of the role before hand. He stars in movies.Addai67 wrote...

But hey, some of us like the older men. *eyebrow waggle* Also I highly, highly doubt that Sean Bean has to be worried about employment.

My friend is an addict to the books so I knew that main characters die often but *SPOILERS*
I had no idea they'd be that true to the book and kill Ned.

Although, now I'm a little sad because I'm only 26, and not an older man to be ogled at.
