But still, I think that artbook bundle is a good deal for the price that others charge for a regular game.

There was even an Imp Slap in there!

HBO put up the HD version on youtube.
Thank you!
I want to see those dragons get big and kill things. Preferably Joffrey.

Question is will the game be any good.
I really want this game to be awesome. Seeing it is a multiplatform release by people who have so far managed nothing but games habiting various locations in terrible-average wastelands, my hopes aren't as high as I would hope:l
Meanwhile, I warmly recommend Crusader Kings II to all Song of Ice and Fire fans.It captures the atmosphere of Game of Thrones perfectly. Those entirely unfamilar with Crusader Kings, imagine bastard son of Civilization and Sims and you might have a very good idea. . I suppose you could say it belongs in the Family/Dynasty Roleplaying strategy incest assasination button awesome connection game - genre. (FDRPSIABACG for short)
Devs are clearly very aware of their creation landing close to Game of Thrones-ballpark, for it has tons of pretty juicy references and easter eggs:
I play as king of Sweden. Suddenly, an event pops up. I am apparently exploring the delights of wincest with my twin sister in one of the towers of my castle. My own son catches us. "Things I do for love" is among the options you get to pick when deciding how to respond. My son becomes maimed. Good stuff!
After playing CK II, it is impossible to imagine a game outside FDRPSIABACG genre being able to truly capture Song of Ice and Fire. Three stags says unmodded C K II feels more like playing a Game of Thrones than running around as Ted Stark in lifted-from-an-MMORPG 3rd person engine, hitting people with axe when you press X on your pad will.
Oh about the HB O trailer,
It bothers me how beyond-the-wall in that(otherwise awesome) trailer is an arctic wasteland. Entire Night's Watch being utterly swallowed by this endless pile of pine trees is topmost feeling I remember about the area from Clash of Kings. Martin's writing style and the whole philosophy of actually managing to move anywhere beyond 5 km of your home in medieval fantasy world being a huge PITA really made it my favorite forest in any book ever! It just ain't right if on screen version is mostly just some lame tundra.

And Melisandre looks like she couldn't even light a match.
Other than that, great trailer.

I'm thinking about getting Crusader Kings 2 at some point, problem is I just don't have the time to play it right now, but once summer comes and Game of THrones is on TV that should all change.

If Robb wasn't thinking with his wee wee, there wouldn't be enough material for books 3-7.

I think Robb could have squirmed out of that situation by refusing to acknowledge the child. His fatal mistake was clinging to honor until the bitter end--just like daddy. Tangentially, it's also why he made enemies of families such as the Karstarks. Honor and leadership don't go hand in hand in GRRM's world. Robb didn't know how to play the political game and paid for it.
It has less to do with his wee wee than the Starks being pretty damned dumb--except for Arya; and that is only because she remembers the teachings of far wiser men than her brothers or father.

In his defense, his mother in law being in league with Tywin (from the beginning? Jeyne going to see him was quite convenient) wasn´t something easy to see coming. And the "salt and bread" thing doesn´t seem to have ever been broken before the RW.
Still, being honorable in ASoI&F is the surest way to get killed.

Yeah, I always pictured it the same way. At least for the areas north of the Wall the Night's Watch goes to. I think Iceland fits just fine for how I pictured a bit farther north, like the Frostfangs. But I think for areas like Craster's Keep, they filmed that in Ireland with trees. But yeah, its not quite the same not having trees, which would make everything and everyone totally exposed and visible.
