I wonder if HBO has a quota for sex scenes per episode in every one of their shows.

HBO changed their name from Home Box Office to Home Boner Office.

It's not TV, it's porn.

Geez, and I thought that shot was poorly rendered when I saw it on Sunday. Seeing it as a still makes it look that much worse. Easily the ugliest use of CGI on this show to date. Thank goodness they put more effort into Grey Wind and the dragons.

There's CGI in this still? Oh, you mean the background? Yeah, no one is looking at that.

You're right. Most viewers would notice it for a second before Tyrion came into view--then look at him instead.

Only because he's in close proximity to what everyone is really staring at.

I have no idea what you could possible be referring to. All I see is an ugly backdrop with an obnoxious shrew doing a poor job of pretending it's real.

Before I go off to read A Clash of Kings again,

they refer to her breasteses.

A shrew she may be, but a gorgeous one none the less. I love me some Tyrion, but there's no hard decision making between the two.

Actually, she has better hips and legs. Well, those are better than breasts anyway.

Eh, I didn't leave yet.

I'm more attracted to a woman's face, particularly her eyes. At least, when they stand out.

Ros is nicer eye candy if I'm looking for that sort of thing. Although I suppose if you *really* like Shae, you can find porn her actress did easily enough. Hard to compete with that in most folks' minds, I'm sure. :P

@LPPrince

That's important as well, but there's something magnetizing to the eye about the lower half of the body.

How did we get on this topic?

@Seagloom

Really? Hmm, can't say I'm surprised. She's really attractive, but I don't care enough for me to go on a google hunt for that sort of thing.

Yeah. It was the most amusing aspect of her casting. :P

I think the reason you are drawn to the lower half of her body has more to do with her dress and pose in that scene.

Could be, her posture also leads you to stare in that direction, but I remember her last season and I wound up looking at the same thing. I think she just has a "good" build, which would explain the other things on her resume. :D

She's such an annoying character. Can't wait for that thing I can't talk about.

Also can't wait for Greywind and Robb and that thing I can't talk about. God I hate that dumb git. And all the Starks.

I should probably skip all episodes with Westerling. Considering how HBO handled Greyjoy in Pyke, those will probably be excruciating to watch.

The new CGI/SFX guys not giving each new Westerosi location on the animated map in the opening a large central cog with the respective house sigil on it.

They showed Dragonstone.  You mean because it didn't have a sigil on it?

If you focus on such piddly negatives, you're guaranteed to find what you're looking for every episode.

As I have explained twice now, yes.

Would you please pay attention to what I write and how I phrase it before you climb on that high horse of yours?

I never called it a dealbreaker. It is a needless, noticeable and jarring difference, so yes, it is a shame and indeed a disappointment, but since it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things only a minor one to be sure. At worst it's rubbing some additional salt into the wounds caused by the handful of utterly terrible scenes and changes which sour each otherwise awesome episode so far and in fact the whole series given their far reaching consequences (i.e. I can ignore the infamous brothel scene last season and even LF's uncharacteristic outburst in episode 11 as well as mere visual differences to GRRM's vision, but the changes to Cat and especially Cersei are increasingly hard to stomach), which is what is causing me to rapidly lose interest in the series, not an opening that has lost its magic.

Yeah. Whatever.

Ep 2 is "The Night Lands." Not sure what that refers to, though I guess those who have seen it could tell us.

You haven't seen it yet?!? It was awesome! :wizard:

There is a hilarious scene between Tyrion and a guard captain.

I'm about eight episodes through the boxset. I've enjoyed every episode so far, but the frequent sex and nudity is gratuitous to the point of being beyond a joke. And it goes out right after the nine pm watershed on TV...putting a show like this on straight after the watershed seems a bit disrespectfull and shameless.
