There's something wrong with the links in Chris' initial post. They point to dragonage.bioware.com, but that doesn't seem to exist. If you edit the url to social.bioware.com, it works. That's what I did.

This added bonus of Mass Effect 2 is just to get more people hooked into it so they can sell more coppies of Mass3. It has nothing to do with fan appreciation. Because fans already own the game. Also it helped to boost sales of DA2. Which is lacking in oh so many ways.

Will the Cerberus Network download links disappear from my "Your registered game content" screen after today?

I ask because they are large downloads and I'm not on high speed internet today.

They shouldn't.

However with pages being gone before today was over, I'd suggest keeping a copy of the downloaded files just in case.

And someone will probably be able to help you get it through Bioware and/or EA since it's in your registered games thing.


EDIT: The total size of the download would be 1 gig roughly. The arc is the smallest at about 4 megs. The weapon and armor download is about 60 megs. Then the last two (Zaeed and Firewalker) together are just under 1 gig. So you can grab the smaller two maybe then figure out the bigger two.

Second edit: Correction: Armor is 18 megs and Normandy Crash site is the 60 meg one.

Hey. How am I supposed to redeem my code (for the "online pass") when the Playstation Network is under maintenance?? I need to do that in order to get the free download, right?

I wish it had ME2 download on mac, but I'll take what's offered. :>

... but don't I have to activate the online pass on my PS3 first, and then on bioware? I tried inputing the pass code on this site (at the address in the first post, here) but it wasn't accepted. Is there somewhere I can redeem on the main bioware website?

Sorry, I do not know. Only know the link sent in emails about it.  You can PM a mod here, like John Epler (look at the bottom of page and click a name) and ask about it.

I already own ME2, so no need for it for me. Plus I don't fall for cheap PR gimmicks to sell a game (DA2) that isn't selling very well. :innocent:
