I'm sorry what sequel? Because I know you can't honestly think DA2 is a sequel. And if you think it's a sequel to what is it a sequel? I'm sure no one will say DA:O, because Star Wars is more of a sequel to Lord of the Rings than DA2 is to DA:O.

As for the topic, I wonder how much overlap there is between DA and ME players. I suppose EA knows thanks to logins

Bioware does this and its like they murder children or something. No the reaction for this wouldn't be half as bad if they murdered children. Whatever their intentions with this is irrelevant. Some Bioware points or maybe a discount on ME3 would have been preferred to be honest. If this is truly for fans wouldn't we already have ME2? If you want to do something for us make sure DA3 gets more care than its predecessor.

I already have ME2, if you dont have it by now there's a pretty damn good chance that you dont wanna play it anyway.

I kinda see this as an apology for DA2 being such a disappointment; and I'll take it as one. It still won't make me preorder DA3 - but at least it's nice the developers realized they screwed up. I feel a little better atleast.:happy:

How in the world do the hateful people in this thread actually justify throwing temper tantrums because Bioware are giving us a fantastic game for free? And how is it that so many of you people do not even appreciate the fact that Bioware are (as it seems to me) trying to make the disappointed forumites a little happier? I'm getting so sick of these forums. Full of children whining because everything isn't exactly the way they decided it should be.

Sure, I already own Mass Effect 2, but now I have a digital version as well, and I really appreciate that. I had intended to get one eventually, since the EA download manager is a very efficient way of managing Bioware games.

In conclusion, thank you, Bioware. Very much. I appreciate the effort.

I know I asked this before, but what does it mean by the code of The Black Emporium? You meant every original DAII has a code for that? 'Cause I'm going to get one soon.

I bought the bioware signature edition and in the inside of the box I had several codes. Inclucing the one to download the Black Emporium. I don't know what the other versions of the game included. :-)

I couldnt agree more! DA2 is a fantastic game and I have thoroughly enjoyed it! How marvelous of Bioware to give us a free game! I have never had that offer before for playing any other game and I'm well impressed..... unfortunately these forums are full of non-appreciative teenagers, for whom there is just no pleasing!

I'm sure you will enjoy Mass Effect 2 game. It got me addicted like playing ten characters already. Well, you gotta' get Mass Effect 1 as well.  I appreciate what BioWare offering, and I understand it's a marketing strategy. Hell, I can't wait for these two original games now!

How many times are we going to have to say "This isn't going to go down as well as you think it will" on these forums before someone finally gets a clue that their blitz of PR doublespeak isn't going to have the planned reaction?

Is it SO hard to just do things right the first time and release a good game?

"What you fail to appreciate is that DA:O was a clunky old game made by old people and it's old and nobody likes reading anyway and furthermore, DA2 is way better and new and young and flashy and fast and stuff and doesn't have all those annoying numbers and stats and choices to get in the way of all of the AWESOME we jam-packed into every empty recycled nook and cranny of DA2.
