You are obvious hater who cant do anything but complaining. Bioware did everything right, more than we could have hoped for.
But on serious note... I agree.
You had me going at the end of your second sentence.

Of course they're not going to admit that its doing bad. It's quite obvious however. Biowares doing this in order to boost sales for da2 by attaching a game the shooter fans might like. Oh the smell of desperation......

If you were a loyal Bioware customer, wouldn't you already have ME 2 in the first place? And why not include a cerberus code with this loyalty bonus?

I thought that, too. It's been selling poorly on PC. Smells like desperation.
The event is (in part) because we reached 1 Million sales faster than Dragon Age Origins.
How is that desperate?

Good question and I think the answer is why they are really giving away the code. They know that most DA2 owners already have ME2. I'm sure they want us to give them away and expose more people to the franchise. Not necessarily a bad thing. And I think the Cerberus code is in there. Don't know for sure though.

How did DA2 even sell this much...
Most have played ME1 but you have a point.leonia42 wrote...
I'm only disappointed that it's ME2 and not ME1. How many people are going to skip ME1 now? All the PS3-only players and a lot of these newtimers coming through this promotion.
Is this not a triology? Shouldn't we be giving people the first game?
Yeah, that's right, I only like Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, and Dragon Age. To hell with that Knights of the Old Republic or Mass Effect.Captain_Obvious_au wrote...
Meh, Bioware fail. I'm a bit baffled by this promotion anyway - hey, let's reward our medieval-themed RPG customers with a futuristic sci-fi shooter! Wait...
Apparently, you can give your code to someone else. Source.MColes wrote...
Very true. A free game is never an issue.. although I already have it, multiple times over. Can I however give my product code to a friend? That's what I'd like to know from BioWare. That would be a good way to get a new customer, if we can give the download to someone who doesn't have it.
