Hey folks,, there is another "dissapointment" threat... c'mon all.. lets flame there!!

what is there to flame, this is a single player game, not an mmo or anything else.

if you dont want a single player game, dont buy it.

its really that simple.

so what you saying is game that don't have mutiplay should not worth more than 20 dollars, which i can not agree lol, I am willing to pay 100 US for this game, the story is the soul of RPG game and they done a great job of it, Also I can enjoy the game with more than 80 hours game play, and each minute I spend in game I was having so much fun and stuff, unlike playing mmo , most of the time just killnig mob over and over again, donig quest that collect item from mob etc, well I am not saying mmorpg not worth playing , you can play with other people there is there sellnig point, but show some respect for games that not Deside to go online. not to metions that thousand of game that pay online suck and I am not gonig to play 2 dollars for it.

I hate the new generation of kids and with their perception that everything revolves around MMO's.

Hey! This fool does not represent Xbox gamers! There are plenty of us who wouldn't touch XBL with a bargepole. I have never understood the urge to destroy a game by playing it with a bunch of strangers, and no offence to the intelligent, reasonable ones on here, but it's full of teenage American idiots with questionable attitudes to race, sexuality and women. I just want to play games and can't afford £800 for a gaming PC setup and then have to upgrade every two years.

Ahem.

And what does "questionable attitude towards sexuality and women" have to do with XBL? Or americans? Or gaming at all? And not all people are like that, since you only seem to exclude the people whom are here. I've met some really great people on XBL. I don't get this attitude towards online gamers. People sit on their high horses and talk crap about people who play games online, generalizing them all into one group who people can hate upon.

That, is the foundation of racism, my friends. It's not a race, but it sure got all the other parts chipped in there. Wake up.

Rumor? And it was easier for you to ask this in a forum of strangers, other than say simply taking 5 mins to research the game on the net? I don't get it. And for the record, I am really glad there are other gamers out there like myself that do not look at the lack of multiplayer in any game as a liability. Most of my all time best gaming experiences have been single player.

And wait... I played Mass Effect. You know...  the game you have a pic from in your avatar. You know that didn't have multiplayer either, right?

That this game doesn't have multiplayer, is this true?  It says on the box "Xbox 360 Live" on the Xbox 360 game case, so I assumed it would have online play.  Especially since all new games have online now pretty much.  I am beginning to have second thuoghts on whether I should spend $50 on a game that has no multiplayer.  Anyone else feel this way?  I mean really, single player games are so boring, you can't play with friends, you can't meet interesting new people, you can't play custom made maps and mods, and once you beat the game, there is no point in playing it again (since it's single player only).  I will still buy the game anyway, but it certainly isn't worth anything more than $20 since it doesn't have multiplayer.  Of course, being a StarCraft: Brood War player for the past 9 years could have some impact on how I like multiplayer (since anyone who has played on Battle.net knows that it is the best online gaming service ever, and you'll never go back to single player only again).  So, anyone else here think that BioWare should add multiplayer to the game?

I absolutely cannot stand how everyone whines for multiplayer in every game now... Some games just aren't meant to be played online, their glory lies in the fact that it's a beautifully crafted game for you to enjoy... If you absolutely have to have online play, then stick to FPS, you're missing out on some great games if you refuse to play a game that does not have multiplayer capabilities. Grand Theft Auto went forever without going online, and it worked for that series, just as single player only works for this game.

Anyways, there's a good chance eventually some MP mod will be made for this game on PC, Multi Theft Auto anyone?

Maybe the OP(Troll?) should research games by googling them instead of making uninformed assumptions from watching tv commercials and/or wandering through a store and reading only the banner label on a game case. If you really need to have 24/7 interaction with your "friends" maybe you should seek some sort of therapy. Just a thought.
