True but Sony in eu is dealing with the same & got it up 4 them & us here in america are left out in the cold. p.s. if it was that anonymous group they should all be fond & jailed.

Its not anonymous...at least it isn't confirmed its them so far...

Anonymous is leaderless. Any geek with an understanding of hacking can become a member of Anonymous. Considering Anonymous started all this last month I wouldnt be surprised if it is indeed one of them who did it

The whole thing with Anonymous is that, while there is no leadership, there is some form of organization to the group. Anyone could really join, or say that they're a part of it, but someone still organizes their protests and such. Yeah, probably just some random hacker who claims to be a part of Anonymous, because, as far as I know, most of Anon doesn't attempt to steal random peoples' credit card info.

its 6:06 pm here again still no patch, i know Sony is dealing with is outage but come on i'm no tech guy but doesn't it take only 1 person to aprove a patch?I mean really bioware as done its part us with the american verison are waiting 4 Sony to do theres.

For all the non-EU players that are despreratly waiting for the patch to arrive, I may have a sollution.

Why not use a euro proxy server to make your system think you are in Europe and thus be able to download the patch? I've just tried it with my own PS3 and it worked, with pretty good speeds too. What you want to do is the following:

• Grab a proxy server from this list: www.proxz.com/proxy_list_uk_0.html I took the first one: 212.219.180.11 with port 80, but you may need to try a few to see which one works best.
• On your PS3, go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings > OK > Custom > Everything as you had before untill it asks for Proxy Server, where you select Use. Fill in the IP and PORT number from the link above and confirm settings
• Fire up ME2
• Download the patch.

Give it a try, but dont shoot the messenger if it doesnt work.

I wouldnt see why there would be any security risk. You're only using the proxy for a few minutes and can change the settings back to how they were once you are done.

I've used these proxies countless times to watch the bbci player in the past for example. I just hope that im not breaking any forum rules by giving this workaround.

Wont work theres a reason...dont waste your time.
Regional Disc coding...All patches only work with the one BD region.
The Disc is not Region locked, you can play it in other region machines
Its not Region Free....The EU patch is only for EU BDs wont work on US BD BLUS-30650...
Different region BDs create Different Update data they dont share one update data.
Thats why there are different version numbers, different patch and why its not patch 1.04 UK. it is called the late april patch.

That is the sad thing is that this small glitch almost cripples the game. I do not want to play past it for fear that it would be stuck that way when I transfer for ME3. (Just me being a drama queen but hey I am doing one playthrough all on insanity for each class I think I can complain a bit about it.)

Still no patch here(asian version), Ahh, i really want this patch I wanna start my insanity playthrough with the Genesis glitch fixed. >.<

Thank you very much Bioware for making the patch pretty fast, i just wish the guys at sony approve the patch already x.x and thanks to jesse for his awesomeness!

Looks like PSN will be up on 3rd May. Maybe you'll get it then since it will be a Tuesday thats when NA normally gets Playstation Store update

Don't you think that is a load of bs though? It has been approved almost everywhere else and Sony US can not just approve of it? Not to mention every Sony is under the same amount of preassure and they still found time to just press the "I approve button".
