I'm having similar problems since the patch. I decided to save the council during Genesis, and although I had a meeting with them when I went to go see Anderson on the Citadel, every NPC seems to treat me as though I let them die (e.g. the Rodam Expeditions shopkeeper and al-Jilani mention how I let the geth destroy the Destiny Ascension). Stranger still, Galactic News reports mention how the Ascension had just finished it's victory cruise, so I don't know what to think. To make things weirder, during my meeting with Anderson (who I chose to give the Council position to during Genesis) Udina interrupts and threatens to fire Anderson as his advisor; implying that I'd actually picked Udina to be Counsellor. The main problem though seems to be how there's currently no way of saving Kaidan if you're just starting a new game. This isn't as much of a problem for me personally (I more or less always chose to save Ash anyway), but it's still a major problem. Hopefully BioWare'll get it fixed soon. There not the most obvious of problems but considering how a lot of us are trying to get at least one 'perfect playthrough' ready for ME3 it's bound to cause problems.

look i played through a new game plus and it all went fine...(with the early april patch installed)
I think The Arrival DLC is causing all these problems because just after I finished it and started a new game all these problems started appearing....

I have to disagree with that. After completing 'Arrival' and downloading the 'early april patch', I started a new game with a different Shepard and these problems weren't there. After starting a new game+ with this Shepard, the problems began.

I know for a fact now that we are being ignored about the OUT OF SYNC AUDIO ISSUE. Got Mr. Houston on Friends list and he is VERY active on the forums everyday answering to various threads. Amost looks like the OUT OF SYNC issue is being deliberately ignored...
That said lets hope he will take it into consideration after the Genesis patch is released which should be latest wednesday.

Trust me when I tell you that no issue or person is ignored. Especially by me. Our customers satisfaction is one of my primary concerns. I can say that there are rules around what I'm allowed to talk about and what I'm not governed by the PR department. Acknowledging issues requires a very specific set of rules to be followed. Generally for example when I release patch notes, I'm breaking the official rules. Chris for example is usually supposed to release the notes after a certain set of details have been followed, and often we don't release patch notes - Check the ME2 Xbox Title Updates and Old Dragon Age Origins patches
All I can say is that I personally read the forums a lot of many issues that you folks have brought forward have been fixed because of the empassioned response to them.
Sorry for not saying more, I'm just trying to be as transparant as I'm allowed to be.

I can tell ya that every single issue that *I've read on the forums* has resulted in a discussion with and a bug filed for follow up and reproduction by the remaining ME2 PS3 QA Team. Now, beyond that, until we've gone down the path further including reproduction, understanding root cause, seeing if it's risky, etc... we can't confirm issues are being resolved or reproduced internally. When in doubt, I will ask for help from the community as I have in the past. I promise!

Edit: BTW you can all add me as friends on the forums. And I try and answer most of my Private Messages and posts as long as they aren't 'Anti-BioWare' or threatening my person (You'd be surprised how often that happens).
Edit2 : I also respond very quickly via Twitter too, but you're forced to hear my innane ramblings about things like Motorcycles and ninjas
