a) What exact bonuses does flanking give? The ingame tipps suggest it increases attack and critical chance, but by how much?
Is there a cap to how much critical damage bonus a character can benefit from? I think I read somewhere that 400% (300% bonus) was the maximum, but it doesn't show ingame and I can't find the thread where I read it anymore

a) Flanking is handled much the same way it was handled in DAO: http://dragonage.wik...nd_Backstabbing
There is no Combat Movement in DA2, but there are Shadow/Royal Archer talents that give you auto crit from the rear angle (check the diagrams for what the engine considers a 'rear angle').
That information was false. The hard cap is 1000%.
