I hate it when enemies take forever to drop loot. It's become a tradition after every battle to sit around watching the corpses, waiting for them to become piles of coins. I got sick of going back through an area I had already fought in and finding out I missed some items or money because it dropped after I left. And that's not even mentioning areas that you can't go back to after you leave. Seems like it was a problem in Origins as well, and I wish they had addressed it.

Waves of enemies falling from the sky, or suddenly materializing in front of you.

Enemy mages putting up a defensive bubble while you kill all their team mates, allowing you to kill them at your leisure afterwards.

The 40 second cooldown on Heal, and the fact that you need to upgrade it for it to be more effective than a potion.

General targeting problems, that cause Mage Hawke to stand there twirling his staff like a moron.

That's not actually an issue.

Your opinion is not actually an issue.

Rogues flagging a trap while simultaneously triggering an encounter with every slaver in Kirkwall, all of whom can walk across the trap without issue, and then walking right into it.

The inability to see raw attribute scores without stripping all bonus-granting equipment, even after walking right into a trap that the rogue just flagged.

The rogue not flagging a trap that she is not looking directly at. I can't help it if Isabela keeps staring at my character.

Awesome post, and all true unfortunately.

Potions in tactics go blank for some reason. I don't know if this happens when you swap characters, run out of potions, or if it resets every session. Whatever the reason I have to keep redoing the drink potion tactic on all companions because it goes blank.

This was a problem in DA:O and A, as well.  It seems to happen (especially for health potions) anytime you change the position of the tactic in the tactic list, even inadvertantly, like when you're moving another tactic.  It's annoying they haven't found what's causing the problem and fixed it yet.

1. I hate how my sustainables get reset every time I enter the house or change my party. It sucks when you go from the house to another zone and you immediately trigger a fight.

2. I hate how the dog is so messed up. Sometime you summon him and he just sits there, refusing to follow. Also when you leave the map, he disappears and the spell has to go through a long cooldown to resummon him.

3. I hate when AOE spells snap to target. It seriously is infuriating sometimes. I know how to use a mouse, I don't need your assistance Bioware.

Snap-to is likely a console contrivance.

The only thing that really bugs me in this game is my attack cursor keeps disapearing and I have to keep selecting a different character to get it back.

The lack of indication of whether you're in range or not

Might work if you just move the cursor across the list of companions with you, if it's the same problem I'm having. Still annoying, but better when you don't have to switch character at least.

You actually dont have to select another character. Just re-click on hawke's portrait and it fixes it.

Hear, hear! I think it was on the Sebastian quest in Act 2 where the dog kept trying to leave the mansion. Maybe he was trying to tell me something.

Is this the bug that makes you unable to target or attack enemies? It is hyper, freaking annoying, especially on my mage. Having to switch to another character to reset it is just dumb, so I will try the select hawke trick.

Also, on PC, R not working when controlling companions. I love Fenris sitting their scratching his ass like Sandal while a Rage Demon eats my mage's lunch.

Lack of "End of Combat", or similar, in tactics menu to have party members turn off sustainable skills, mostly for Merrili's blood of the first.

dog is starting to get annoying with this behavior

snap to target is absolutely needed without a bullseye on the targeting ring. perspective is jacked when attepting to place the damn thing. cant count the number of times ive missed center mass with gravitic ring aiming manually.

Huh.  The thing about sustainables that bugs me more than anything is when they're off, so the character has to take time at the beginning of a fight to turn them on.  I want them to stay on, all the time, instantly there the moment combat starts, unless I turn them off myself, and yet random things seem to turn them off.

That sir, is pure win.  And so true.

My peeves:
Characters suddenly being unable to target enemies until another character is chosen and then original character is returned to.
Same thing with sometimes randomly being unable to move.  Especially annoying on a mage, where I have to pause, pick another character, repick the mage, unpause, and THEN move.
Lack of some tactics that seem vital and obvious, but are absent.  For instance, there are no tactics like "enemy at least x meters away from any party member" and strangely, several status effects.  I can't, for instance, shield a stunned companion through tactics.  Sadness.

But with blood magic it take 50% of Mana so that 50% of her mana that you could use before switching to blood magic and using health.  I always manually switch to her after battle to turn it off so she can have that advantage in the next fight.

Random things that turn them off are switching them into your party, and Aveline has tactics like surrounded by X eniemies activate shield deffence, surrounded by no eniemies de-activate shield deffence. you can turn those off.

Agreed about the no end of combat option in combat tactics. There are lots of sustainables I don't want on permanently. If Anders is in my party, there's no reason he shouldn't throw out some dps before anyone takes damage. I've got him set to activate Pancea if two or more party members are below 50% hp, then use the group heal. One great way I've found to get a player to drop a sustained mode at the end of combat is the option "Enemy - Surrounded by no enemies." There's a tiny risk someone might pop out of a mode too soon this way, but it's actually never happened to me, and it makes sure certain modes get dropped at the end of a fight. I use this on bravery for a tank too. I have it only activate at surrounded by 3 enemies (so the stamina is only put on reserve if it's that kind of fight) and have it drop at surrounded by zero enemies, so I never leave a fight with it on.
