2. I hate how the dog is so messed up. Sometime you summon him and he just sits there, refusing to follow. Also when you leave the map, he disappears and the spell has to go through a long cooldown to resummon him.

3. I hate when AOE spells snap to target. It seriously is infuriating sometimes. I know how to use a mouse, I don't need your assistance Bioware.

dog is starting to get annoying with this behavior

snap to target is absolutely needed without a bullseye on the targeting ring. perspective is jacked when attepting to place the damn thing. cant count the number of times ive missed center mass with gravitic ring aiming manually.

As a PC player I find it more annoying than helpful, but I have no idea how this plays out on the consoles. At the very least, there should be a way to disable it (holding down shift or something). Problems for me arise when some of the enemy are barely within the AOE circle. It sometimes requires precisely placing it barely off-center of an enemy, but then it snaps it to him instead and they don't get hit.

  • Your rogue warning a trap is there after or at the exact second you trigger it.
  • Companions wandering aimlessly around in the middle of a fight instead of attacking after they have fallen unconcious & been revived. I know you can remove & re-add their weapons to fix this but it still bugs. Had Anders looking so serene wandering about while shades and Bartrand's loopy guards were ripping sh*t through the rest of the party last night.
  • Drink poition tactic bugging out. Had Fenris and Varric drop a couple of times last night with that.
  • Not being able to use entropy spells while healing aura is active. I doubt this is an actual bug but it's still kind of annoying since most entropy spells aren't really doing any damage just harassing.
  • The 2H warrior taking one hit against an enemy (which knocks them back) then just standing there like a wally instead of closing in again & continuing to attack.
  • Edit: Arcane weapons seems to be bugged too. If I go to a different area with it active it only adds the extra damage to Hawke's weapon. I have to deactive & reactivate it to get it to work for companions as well.

There are other things to do with companion interactions but that is a discussion for a different day.

Part of the issue on consoles is that the "waffle" is elevated from the ground and your perspective gets shifted.

We still have the x-hair on the radial, it just doesn't always work. So what I am forced to do is face the target, open radial, which pauses the game, d-pad target the enemy I want, attack - which locks the target, then select the spell I wish to lay on that area. Its more often than not Gravitic Ring that has been the real need for this. Other spells are more shoot from the hip as far as AoE.

@HolyWarrior21 Will have to try that when I get back to trying the warrior out. Gave up on him very quickly as I'm addicted to mages.

I dislike the lack of an Inspect button when I'm picking up loot. I wanna be able to see if that sword's better than my old one (with a comparison to my old one popping up to help out) before I pick it up. This was in Origins, while in DA2 I have to pick it up, then open my inventory, scroll to the correct tab, find the item in the list and then I can check it out.

Not sure if you know this but the no target bug can be avoided by not moving the camera (either by keyboard or holding the right mouse button) when the cursor is hovering over a character or their portrait. That's what locks the portrait into being highlighted and preventing you from clicking anything.

I hate, hate, the auto-aim the amount of times I've purposefully had allies in an AoE because I couldn't be assed to spend ages fiddling around to get the cursor to that one spot, trying to avoid it going anywhere near enemies.

"I dislike the lack of an Inspect button when I'm picking up loot"

You can on PC, maybe it's a console thing.

Tactics overriding my manual input, Merril continueing to cast tempest as opposed to moving where i told her to and after the cast she still won't move. This was very annoying while facing Brekker on nightmare and trying to do it with no deaths.

Yes, completely lame that they took this out on PS3!

I miss seeing my inventory as I buy as well as when I loot. Why they "fixed" the things that worked will forever be a mystery.

I want my gd switch weapon sets button damn it.

Especially when you find companion armor upgrades and you have no idea who the are for or what they do.

"How much longer do I have to wait?" every time you walk 10 steps inside the Viscount's Keep. Especially during Act 3 where this guy has been "waiting all day" for six years, and still nobody seems to have informed him of the Viscount's...departure.

Yep!

*Enemy mages force feilding themselves instead of helping their minions.
*The eyebrow lifts on hawke female look ridiculous.  I don't know anyone who can lift their eyebrows to their fringe hairline.
*All the enemy rogue bugs
*Anders screaming like a little girl when he is attacked by abominations.

Happy to help, and I too am addicted to mages.  I felt that mages excelled more as crowd controll rather than sheer damage output in origins.  Stun/petrify/paralyse all your enemies, chuck a fireball on top of them then let the warriors and rogues clean up.  I feel mages excell much more in DA2, while they do have some cc its not the endless number of spells that we had in origins.  Mages feel more like the "nukers" they're supposed to be :)

Trying to carefully target an aoe spell to avoid friendly fire only to have it constantly lock onto an enemy and screwing up your aim. Origins did this as well but the tactical camera allowed you to get around that. We all know what happened with that in DA2.

Getting shot at by archers as you frantically spin the camera and try to zoom out, trying to see where they are standing.

Not being able to target anywhere you want with an AOE spell. What's so special about the spot two pixels away from my current one that magically allows me to choose it, but my current one doesn't?

Teleporting enemy mages.

Not being able to check my Friend/Rival level on a companion unless they're in group.

Er, or, am I just being dim and that option is there and I just haven't found it yet?

Edit - I have a real one! Battle rezzed companions wandering off from the fight.  They stand around and watch.  Is this cowardice?  "I was dead, you guys can handle this one without me I think."

Big ones are:

1. Revival/out of battle glitch.
2. Targeting glitch (lose target on enemy randomly)
3. No weapon swap (mostly for mages, though this would be nice for Rogues who want to hybrid).
4. Companion AI wanting to either FF me or get FF'd by me. Fenris and Anders are big culprits.
5. Not really a glitch, but NO SCATTERSHOT!?!?!?!?!?

i am especially annoyed at slamming my sword at a brittle target, only to ff-oneshot myself with it
also killing myself as a rogue 100>0 instantly by performing some kind of dw attack
also being stuck in staff animation
also tactics being buggy and pc controlled warrior using aoe abilities even if told not to
also isabelas questioning beliefs quest triggering after she flees with relic, making me lose potion of heroism :<

At the end of a really long fight, where only the boss is left (ogre, rage demon, etc...) and you pull up the skill wheel then you have to d-pad(xbox) through 8 dead bodies to target the boss; separately for every character, every time you pause to issue orders. Minor, but annoying. I really don't want to pick up those torn trousers until after the fight.

-Taunt randomly not working.

-Switching from bow to dagger during combat, only for the rogue to pause in place for five seconds before being able to move again.

-Enemies spawning on top of my mages.
