If it is possible, how do you sync your xbox live account with your BioWare social account. I heard if you do this and register your game you get that magic staff on the cover and in the trailer.

If you have an EA master account I think it ties everything together.  Try registering the game first and see if that does anything.

i registered my dragon age 2 but it wont give the extra content when i turn on the game.so how do i get it to work?

You need to make sure that the EA account your xbox gamertag is linked to is also linked to the bioware account. Check the email address in game against the email you used when signing up. If they are not the same you will need to contact EA support to get the accounts linked

Whatever email address you used to create your xbox live account thats the one you need to login with......
