Description: I've been having game-crippling scripting problems.

I bought his game from Steam about a week ago and, in the main NWN2 campaign, I've been having serious scripting errors. The first error I encountered was in the Weeping Willow Inn. I would talk to the woman who wanted me to save her husband, but she would not recognize that I had saved her husband and that he was standing next to her. I was able to fix this by reverting to a prior save and re-doing the saving of the husband.

Then, after that, upon leaving the Inn, when the dwarf is supposed to discuss joining your party, instead, for some reason, your first conversation with him after defeating the brawlers would play and, subsequently, I would not be able to go anywhere on the map other than the Inn or West Harbor.

I rebooted several times during the process and nothing fixed the issue. I also tried saving, loading, reloading, etc.

I finally gave up on that save and started another game, but this time, the game fails to generate the second wave of bladelings/orcs when fighting in the field in West Harbor. After defeating the first wave, everyone fighting stands idly and I can't progress any further. I can run around the town, but the first act doesn't progress at all.

Can anyone tell me what's causing these errors? They seem random and inconsistent...
