But could someone just say where the black emporium is?Yes I downloaded it,now what?I'm not seeing any markers on the map or exclamation points that mark a quest or a letter that some have said you're supposed to recieve.

Now I'm not sure on this here but if you were in the midst of a game when you installed it you might have to start a new game.  How I found out about it is you check your delivery chest When you get access to gamelans house<your first home> and there will be mention of it in there and it will open a new travel area on your map. If you have your estate check your storage chest next to the writing table.

Well if you downloaded and installed it, make sure you've logged in to the game with the account that got it. Next check the downloadable content option off the main menu to make sure its listed there.

If both these options are true, you should see a smaller marker for the Black Emporium on the Kirkwall map (day or night) near where you'd find the one for Anders Clinic or Darktown. Reading the letter should be optional (I've visited it before getting that letter)

If you're not seeing the marker, then follow earlier advice and ask on the Tech support forums.
