I noticed a trend of people picking much older actors to play young characters. Remember, Alistair, Morrigan and Leliana are in their 20s, so the actors playing them should not be over 35.



For example, 10 years ago I think that Kate Beckinsale would make the perfect Morrigan, but now she is simply too old for the role.

See, I thought about that too... I think Leliana is older than Morrigan and Alistair though.  She even states in the game that she thinks she looks younger than she is.  I'd peg Leliana as somewhere between 29-early 30s.  Kate Beckinsale is 36, she looks great for her age, and it certainly wouldn't be the first time someone a few years older was cast in a younger roll

He's got the right attitude, but he's not convincing as a dual-sword-swinging, darkspawn-slaying badass who is willing to make the hard choices and sacrifices to succeed. Liam Neeson?

Nowadays they dont even need the actors in the flick.They can just get the voice overs from the actors and create the actors in a DAO movie.Live action(real actors) or CG generated?

As a movie though sure id go see it!

Gotta agree, Claudia has the looks and acting chops to pull off Morrigan in a live action movie so no reason not to use her

Alan Tudyk as Allistar is simply brilliant casting IMO

I myself say a big NO!!! to that. He only very lightly looks like Alistair, he doesn't have the same voice and they are of two completely different builds (Michael Cera usually plays geeky roles in movies).

Michael Cera WTF??? Hell no, Alistair is way too attractive for that bs. I think the guy from the bachelor Jake Pavelka looks a hell of a lot more like Alistair than Michael Cera. I totally agree that Meryl Streep would be an awesome Wynne as well as Rosie O'donnel being the Brood Mother. lol

Arl Eamon: Mel Gibson with his trademark I-found-god beard

Bann Teagan: Brad Pitt

Zevran: Jackie chan
