For Zevran... Antonio Banderas? Seriously? I've seen people suggest him, but this is clearly based on voice. Physically the man is just too old and too... big (meybe 10 years ago he would suit, but not now). I would think Gael Garcia Bernal, myself, or even Alan Cumming (he certainly can do flamboyant).
Is the Spanish accent absolutely essential? I saw Alexander Skarsgaard suggested for Alistair, but to me he has just the right look for Zevran (even a similar nose but ... smaller).

Hmm... Emily Deschanel would be a good choice as well, if they can make her look younger through makeup.

Gerard Butler for Alister, or Duncan.
Michael Urie for Zevran
Keira Knightley for Lelianna
Vanessa Redgrave as Flemeth
Michael Clarke Duncan as Sten (is there really ever a choice?)
Denzel Washington as Duncan.

I think Mr. T should be Sten.filetemon wrote...
let's say who we don't want to see in the DAO movie
Alistair: Jean Claude Van Damme
Morrigan: Paris Hilton
Sten: Mr.T
Brother Genitivi: Danny DeVito (although this one may be good)
Broodmother: Roseanne Barr
Leliana: Scarlett Johansson (if she played this role there would be 100% chances of romance scene with sideboob)
Arl Eamon: Mel Gibson with his trademark I-found-god beard
Bann Teagan: Brad Pitt
Zevran: Jackie chan
PS: I think Rosie O'Donnel would make a good Broodmother.
Oh come now! Physically I see the resemblance but I dont recall the Broodmother going on a pro liberal rant boring its victims to death.
If that was the case, I vote Micheal Moore as the Broodmother

Uhh, movies with or about dragons are doomed to fail (D&D?, Eragon?, Reign of Fire?)
Get Jeremy Irons so he can overact himself to death !
in all fairness if you watch some of the behind the scenes stuff for that abortion of a movie it's obvious he's hating what he's doing.
he's a good actor.
I think his "overacting" was exactly what the idiot producers/directors/whatever made him do...they thought it was "cool." And DnD will now forever be a movie "hell no."

I say that the entire cast of The Office (any applicable version) would be capable actors for their respective roles in a Dragon Age movie, but that's just me (and probably only me).
What about big bang theory?
Sheldon Cooper as Loghain

Not only does she have the hair and facial features, she's already played the earnest, loopy girl who's secretly a spy/con artist on Firefly.
Better yet, cast Christina Hendricks as everyone. Hell, I'd watch it.
