The only thing I know is that my days when I would't even think twice about preordering from BioWare are over until they can convince me that their future games will not fall into the "rushed but adequate" territory that DA2 fell into. On the bright side my friends also get a break from my obnoxious praising of BioWare whenever we talk about video games.

Then I might talk to my friends about my opinions on it.

I'd rather they just focus on making the best game possible.
Nah. I started a DOA playthrough again, and there is just a boatload more conversations in that game.nightscrawl wrote...

In terms of general game play though, it wasn't that different from Origins. In Origins, there were large chunks of dialogue scenes, then you exploring or doing some quest, and then talking to the person again.

Anyway, I'll probably be stubborn about it at first, but then my curiosity will get the better of me and ultimately lead me to preorder it. Darn you, Gaider, and your interesting story! *shakes fist*

There isnt going to be an expansion, why are you guys speculating there will be one? BioWare said its going to be small DLC packs, no big expansions.
Yeah they can't get as much money if they sell a big one, but small ones add up quick.

Yes Bioware said there wouldn't be an expansion but you know who's pulling the strings behind the scene right? That's right, good ol' money bags EA. They already forced Bioware to sacrifice on the expceptional quality at which they deliver RPG's and it wouldn't suprise me if they force out another turd from the DA2 franchise in the form of an expansion "cheap cash in".

Then come to the forums to read a bunch of people **** and moan (and fail to admit that they'll buy it too).

I'm not buying f*ck-all for DA2.
And its been stated there will be no expansion. Just a collection of sh!tty DLC's.

And small chunks of DLC add up more than larger expansions. Look at the bits for the Sims. A $3 chair here. A $8 toliet there. Before you know you've spend $100 on virtual furniture. You're more likely to get people to nickle and dime their way with DLC than larger, more expensive expansions.

Then don't buy the crappy DLCs, the nonexistant expansion, or the game. Do please dedicate large amounts of rage and energy to hating the game. It helps.
And as you're entitled to your feelings on the game, so are the people who don't feel the same as you. Name calling and belitting someone else because they don't agree with you says a hell of a lot more about you.
I will be more cautious this time. I will wait, read reviews, particularly of players (as opposed to those who get advertising money from EA and don't want to ****** them off). I will come here and read what is said too, ignoring the belittling jabs and name callers on both sides. Then I will decide to buy or no.

If that's done, then:
Wait to see whether one of the following has occurred:
1. A toolset for DA2
2. The still-needed patches for DA:A to make it playable for all.
If some acceptable combination of the above are done, then consider pre-ordering it.
Otherwise, wait for the ULTIMATE GOY VERSION NO REALLY@

By the time they release a DA2 expansion, there'd be plenty of games in the market to keep me busy.

Its just a small amount of dislike. Especially after 2 good dlc's out of a bunch of fecal matter for ME2, then all crap DLC's for DA:O.
Only got them cause I supported the other two games, that were good, unlike DA2 which I won't support.
From now on I'll look into seeing if they are worth it since it seems quality is going down the crapper.
