I looked through the first 10 pages, but didn't seem to find a topic related to this issue I'm having and I'm not sure it falls under the 'Freezing' issue that is largely popular at the moment.

Since I bought the game I've had horrible audio and video shuttering.  To explain: durning every conversation, after the first couple words, the audio will freeze but the video of them speaking continues.  After a couple seconds the video will rewind then replay from the point it froze then the audio will continue as normal.  If I try to skip the conversation, I have to sit through 5-6 seconds of 'Loading...'

I also experience a heavy degree of combat lag, when ever I try to cast a spell or use a skill, the game will freeze for a couple seconds, then follow through.  There are also peroids where when I cast a spell, the enemy's health will drop, but it takes a few seconds before the spell's animation will play.  Even more issues occur as a melee when I will commence an attack, beat on an enemy for awhile, then only after I stop attacking will the game register that the enemy was hit as my screen is flooded with damage numbers.

This has unfortunetly made the gameplay experience quite unenjoyable to the point where I can't even bring myself to complete Act 1.

My PS3 is only a year old, fat model with everything up to date thus far.  I play both connected to the PSN and DAN with currently no issues to any other aps or games.

Any insight would be appreciated, thank you.

I had the 100% conversation stuttering issue (I posted here just after launch about "severe and continual audio clipping"). A couple of others have reported it, but it doesn't appear to happen to every PS3 owner. (The other audio issue that some PS3 players have reported is continual "echoing" of dialog audio.) I had the same problem with the demo but pre-ordered anyway after we were all told the demo was an "old build".

I also experienced occasional drops in frame rate (what I believe you're referring to when you mention lag), but mine wasn't as severe as yours based on your description.

Bioware never responded to my report so I have no idea if they have any plans to fix it in the upcoming "100 fixes" patch. Perhaps you'll be lucky and get the courtesy of a reply from them.

Edit: Here's my post (http://social.biowar...2/index/6433895) from way back when FWIW
