Please, folks allow in patch ability to slaughter, blood-drain tru straw, burn, or whatever else painfull possible to one of my MOST HATED companions... MERRILL!!!

Never ever played any game involving companions where I hated one of them as much.

Gudos to Bioware for making her as such but she boils my blood, I need her quests cause of the resources in it. But I am almost to a point to summon the resources rather than doing her quest. She is stupid.. ignorant to unbelieveable mesaures.. I just want something to be done to be able to get rid of her... My thinking is at her last quest to be able to hand her over to Dalish for them to execute her and me watch and laugh my head off ( being polite).

There's nobody in this game that's more ignorant, short-sighted, and at times downright cruel than Fenris and Anders.

You can't kill Isabela, but if you haven't sufficiently raised Merrill's approval and side with the Templars, she'll turn on you.

Yes I did it myself. 

As long as her rivalry/friendship is low enough (which is easy enough to do) you can side with the templars and she will stand against you. Then you can cut her down (later on during the quest). 

Isabela has plot shield. She can't be killed.

Well, one reason to kill Merrill is because blood magic is unacceptable to most Templars. I like to stick with the rp, so there it is... Hell, I just finished getting Karen fired from the Templars because I forgot to bring a mage on the quest (hence, no field tests, hence, no way to know for sure...). I even allowed Bethany to die of the taint because one of my warriors ended up hating Anders so early in the game that I couldn't justify bringing him along... that's just how it had to be.

I have never so far sided with templers cause of the great in justice that is doneto poor mage. well, I did once and hated myself for it. I kill Feneris many times cause of his ignorance. I do not kill Anders because Chantry supports slavery of mages. Sacrifices of Chantry preiests is as much fun to me as will be killing Merrill. But will have to foce myself to make a mage ( so that there is no Betheny) and side with templers just to get the UTMOST satisfaction of killing Merrill and I will practise to make it slow and as much painfull as possible.

The only thing I probably couldn't do is kill Bethany personally... that's going too far, even for me... lol... but you never know.  Maybe one day... probably not.

Fenris disagreed with me backing the mages, left my group and then when he showed up with Meridith later I just looked at him and said "C'mon...my side is more fun." and he said "Yeah alright." and rejoined. Meridith just shrugged and said "Whatever."

Was somewhat amusing.

She is my least favorite companion, but she does not make me want to kill her. I can handle her long enough to do her quest. I just hope they never bring her back.

I never got that option she told that she would stand with me and hoped that I knew what I was doing. In my self hating mage playthrough I had Merrill's rivalry maxed out, guess I shouldn't have been so mean to her
