[Tanuki Parade]

I just downloaded the free ME2 for PC since I have DA2-- will it be coming with a Cerberus Network DLC code, or will that be something I need to buy?  Can't find any postings on this topic.....

Same here, the site says Cerberus Network is already activated, but when I get in the game it asks me for a code.

I downloaded it using the code, too... I'm going to be really annoyed if we have to pay to connect to the Cerberus Network... :|

I can't find the code for Cerberus Network either. That woiuld be pretty sneaky, if they "give away" ME2 just to cash in on Cerberus Network.

I believe (the way I did it) was that you have to go to the page where you got the code to enter in the EADM, and theres an option to activate Cerberus there.

The code is the license code that you can look up by pressing the little I that is next to the game in your EA manager. Though I inputted it in-game, 1st the screen just refreshed back to the code input. Tried again and it said it was in use.

I checked my entitlements page and nothing was added. I came here, and followed Valku's link and it brought me back to the ME2 offer page. It says Cerberus network activated, click here to download.

That brought me back to my entitlements page and 5 items labeled Cerberus Network appeared there. I then had to download and install those for it to work.

The suggested way to redeem cerberus is here.If you do it this way you might not have the problems getting them to show up, like I did.

Online Redemption

Go to the Code Redemption page here: http://social.bioware.com/redeem/
Sign in with your existing account or create a new account (make sure to sign in using the exact same account that you used on social.bioware.com)
Enter the Cerberus code
Upon successful redemption load the game and login

I got the same as you, where the first time I entered it it refreshed, and the second time it said code in use...

But their redeem page does not recognise the key we get given in EADM.

Can somebody verify if the license key that is listed for the game activates your copy the cerberus network? Thats how I activated mine. But I am looking for somebody that DIDNT BUY the cerberus network from EA yet. Just want to see if I should apply for a refund if it turns out i didnt really need to buy it.

edit - I activated Cerb network in game, not on the website.

I didn't buy it. But it appeared on my entitlements page here on the Bioware site. It wasn't there originally but then news broke it was included and then it was on my page.

I downloaded ME2 as soon as I received the email saying it was free to DA2 owners. Read the faq and said that cerberus content was not part of the package. So I purchased it anyways. A day later, I guess enough people complained about it. That they finally decided to include it. Guess I get to file a ticket asking for a refund. lol

It didn't show up on my entitlements page until I went back to the redeem page for ME2.

After going there it showed up in the entitlement page as
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge (Cerberus Network)
Cerberus Weapon and Armor (Cerberus Network)
Normandy Crash Site (Cerberus Network)
Cerberus Arc Projector (Cerberus Network)
Firewalker Pack (Cerberus Network)
you have to download them individually then run each .exe
After that start up the game and Cerberus Network will be up and running.

after you've redeemed the code do you try to connect to the cerberus network in game with the email address and password you use here? also have they shown up in your registered game contents page(entitlements page)?

Ok. So I obtained a code from my friend who bought DA2 but did not want to play ME2. I activated the game, and it's playing fine, but I do not have the ability to use the Cerberus network. What would I need to get from my friend in order to download the Cerberus network on my EA/Bioware account?

According to the FAQ, the account that bought da2 gets the cerbeus network activated on it. best bet would be to ask your friend to contact ea cs to see if they can get the entitlement moved to your account.

Anybody else had the problem where you try to install your entitled add-ons and you keep getting this message:
"Mass Effect 2 does not appear to be installed. Please install the game, and try again."

i got my mass effect 2 download code, i try and put it in the redeme code part in EADM and it says my code is already in use. I cant manage to download me2 for free despite i bought da2, can anyone help?

oh hehe.... i was putting it in just coppied pasted from the site like xxx-xxx- and so on, but i decided after a while to take out the - and it worked.......
