Forum bug on quote/edit etc links..

Made a very stupid reply where my dementia made me pick all the wrong words. Sounded right as I was typing  
Anyhow, upon clicking edit, gave "no permission" errors and clicking quote to make a new message and verbally state what I truly meant gave me "permission denied" errors.. I am logged in as you can see by reading this message..

I figured maybe edit was not allowed by a setting or something, but why would I not be able to quote?

The thread is locked. Are you sure it was open when you tried editing/quoting?

I may add that the generic permission error is rather unspecific.

I would think it was open, it was only a minute after i posted. Also, wouldnt those options not be visable if not available?

The thread may have been open when you refreshed and closed by the time the click was processed. The lack of timestamps makes it impossible to tell but clearly the lock came shortly after.
