Quit. Or the sound of rain. The sound of the tub filling with water and the warmth of it. Draw and/or writing has always helped me relax and zone out, too.

The sound of water is also very relaxing for me.  I also really like the steam that fills the bathroom when you run a hot shower.  I've actually turned the shower on, laid on the floor, and just napped in the nice hot steam and comforting sound of water.  I'm glad I don't have water or electric bills!

I sometimes take short naps in the shower, too. Felt guilty about wasting water at first, but that went away quickly, after realizing how nicely this calms me down.

Listening to soft piano and/or guitar music...lying in bed listening to thunder storms and pounding rain....watching Frasier, Friends or The Golden Girls with a bowl of ice cream or chips :-).

When I watch frasier, I prefer watching it while eating tossed salad and scrambled eggs... they're calling again...

...good night everybody!

Listening to ambient music in my comfy chair devoid of outside distractions does the trick for me. Oh and one or two sangrias.

I like to bite the head off a gummi bears and the legs off another gummi bear and place them together so that they become a four armed gummi bear. Like Goro from Mortal Kombat and I do that till I have an army of Goro-Gummi Bears

Reading a good book and drinking tea, either while listening to the rain or while there's a fire in the fireplace. For maximum relaxation, the book would be The Lord of the Rings or some other book that I've read nearly as often.

Other than that - listening to almost any kind of music that I like, drawing, taking a walk if the weather is what I consider reasonable (fairly warm, but not bright), or for a somewhat different kind of relaxation playing some Unreal Tournament or some other first-person shooter (although that tends to break down if I start losing. I'm not a great loser, I'm afraid). Ah, in terms of games oldish DOS games actually work the best. Lemmings, Commander Keen, Duke Nukem, Hocus Pocus, Crystal Caves - all those games that I've played so often I could probably play them in my sleep.

All of these things work best if I'm being left alone, but know that there are people who I know about.

Listening to really calming music like nature sounds, or just slow beat music -_-

This is probably going to sound strange but working out relaxes me too. If im stressed, upset or whatever, I work out until I feel more calm and stuff :)

I usually go out for an hour walk with my dog. Being alone, quiet breeze... is quite relaxing and is useful for getting ideas as well.

Cycling helps me to get rid of all my excess energy, its like meditation.

Being outdoors, feeling the sun on my back and a slight breeze in my face, the beautiful scenery and smelling the nature has a really calming effect on me.

A good book, with some music in the background, like this or that. :-)

Usually a game where I can go around shooting and killing stuff. Very relaxing.

Also, listening to those metal bands that have the lead singer screaming their head off and I can't understand a word they're saying.

Driving a moped, playing on the drums. I use the moped to go to drumming lessons, so I really calm down two times in a week.

Yeah, I enjoy reading fantasy too.
