where can you find the AW swords btw?
Spellbreaker is in the Urn quest area. (I am not there on my current play through so don't remember exact location).
Topsider is in the Deeproads area
Keening is in Denereth(sp)

Does that work with weapons as well?tkaz85 wrote...
Basically if you sell your stuff to a vendor, if you come back later it will have been upgraded to a tier appropriate to your current level. Be warned: it is entirely possible for your stuff to be too expensive for you to buy back/too difficult to use if you do this!

Can you still "backstab" with a long sword and if you've dumped dext. points in a ton and little strength would it be better to just stick with daggers?
With the hotfix, stick with daggers. Without the hotfix, it doesn't matter since daggers are bugged.
Thanks. So what is the best dagger out there?

Blood Dragon is not the best armor. You have plenty of room to improve.sethroskull79 wrote...
Damn I got Starfang and Blood Dragon Armor. I am only level 12 and I already got the best equipment. I guess getting better runes for the sword is all I can do.
In your opinion which is best for tankage?
I have Jugernaught on my Arcane Warrior, so I'm considering alternatives for Allistair my tank. Wade's? Legion?
I assume you do not have Shimmering Shields yet, then? Because if/when you do, Juggernaut is useless.

The best Dagger-only combo (for backstabbing) is supposedly Roses Thorn + Crow Dagger
The dagger found in Shale's quest is the 2nd best dagger in the game, I think..

The reason they (the number crunchers for rogues, not me) say it's best is beause Crow Daggers give +15% crit/backstab. Since backstab damage is based on your primary weapon, having it in your offhand is a flat +15% damage for the vast majority of your attacks. That increase beats anything else, daggerwise.Zenthar Aseth wrote...

The Rose is from Wade's shop and Crow Daggers are random drop, I believe.
That axe paired with Rose Thorn is considered the best non-Dagger-only combo (for backstabbing).Aseya wrote...
im not that far in the game but was
thinking about buying the axe form the camp merchant for my rogue -
would that be a good idea or waste of money?
I wish they'd still let us access the other forum, a lot of good number crunching, tactics, and build threads were on there. Now I have to rely on my (spotty) memory.
