When I tried to use the elf tattoos they came out looking pixelated but that might have been me doing something wrong
Can't really help you with that, I only tested the bloodsmear and the freckles.
but I was wondering on that reference thing at the skin complextion area have you tried modding those on cuz I tried and failed nothing changes so I'm wondering if I did something wrong I know where I'm suppose to mod it at but do I change the olda_0n part that's above the olda_0d I tested each way and I got nothing
Are you trying to edit the default Hawke? If so, you should be replacing olda_0d with something else.
Even custom morphs have that olda_0n part, I don't really know what it stands for.
I'll give it a shot and let you know.
EDIT: Okay, so in default Hawke's case, only replacing olda_0d doesn't seem to do anything.
I replaced both olda_0n and olda_0d with fema_0n and fema_0d respectively, and he did look younger.
So if that's what you're trying to do, try it!

Are you trying to replace the files in a savegame you've already edited?
If so, load that save in-game and overwrite it before trying to edit it again.
Isabella has two hairstyles, one with the red scarf, and one with the blue one. I forgot to put how to get the blue one. I'll do that lateralso im using isabela hair style and the scarf is red instead of blue its nice but any one know how to change it

Just a tip. When it comes to Hex editing, you should always be perfectly, 100% clear.

Female hair swapping needs clearer instructions. It's not exactly the same as swapping as with the male hairstyles; rewrite the instructions as if it was from scratch.

1) Save your game on a USB drive
2) use USBXTAFGUI to extract your save
3) use horizon to extract "Savegame.das" and "Savegame.das.x".
4) Open "Savegame.das" in GFFeditor. Look for "SAVEGAME_PLAYER_MORPH" under Savegame_Playerchar > Savegame_Playerchar_Char.
5) Right-click the text box in the left corner and hit "Export to file". Name that file whatever you want
6) Open that file in XVI32. Look for "art\\characters\\playercharacter\\humanmale\\hf_har_hh1a (its always in that format "h h 1 a" and the number or letter depend on wich airstyle you have)" on the right part of the screen.(bye the ALL the letter are seperated by a space to me some time to bee able to see it

then change those 4 character to the one coresponding to the air style you chose "h h 1 a" in the picture
its important to Mind the blank spaces! DO NOT ADD OR SUBSTRACT ANY CHARACTER! Just replace what's already there.

7) Save.
8) Back in GFFeditor, delete the SAVEGAME_PLAYER_MORPH (just hit Del). Right-click in the now empty text field, click "Import from file".

Choose the file you just edited in XVI32.
GFFeditor will ask whether you want to compress the data or not. Choose NO.
Don't forget to hit the Save button! (The one next to Reset).
9) Save your edited savegame.
10) Use DA Checksum Fix to fix your savegame.das.x.( select the das. file then the das.x.) didnt understand that at first screwd a buch of save that way
11) Use Horizon to replace savegame.das and savegame.das.x in your 360 save.
Rehash, resign.
12) Use USBXTAFGUI to replace the save on your USB drive with the edited one.
13) Load the save in game.
14) ENJOY!

Every time I try to mess around with the face morph with a female Warrior character, it always corrupts the save.
The whole process works fine with my female mage and male warrior, but never with the female warrior. I even started a new save and no avail -- I can do anything to the save and it will still load, but when I extract the face morph, it will always corrupt the file when I re-import it. I even tried exporting/re-importing the same face morph without editing it and it automatically corrupts the save. Highly irritating.
Is this a random bug with the Warrior savegame (I know there are quite a few)?

As I kept adding stuff, it got messier
I'll rewrite it when I have time.

For some reason, warrior savegames get corrupted far more often than other classes. Don't know why.
Nope. Don't think so.c3pu2 wrote...

I think I see what you're talking about, but that has nothing to do with Isabela's hair, as I've noticed that on other female characters.

Nope, no idea whatsoever. I guess the 360 morphs are a bit different in their coding, and the editor just... I don't know
But the chinese gibberish actually makes sense, in a way. What I mean is, it's not random gibberish. Each chinese character corresponds to a latin one. That's how I was able to figure out how to get the bloodsmear.

The clothes? You can swap your armor's appearance pretty easily with PyGFF. Check out the stickied thread about save editing.

Does anyone have an Alternate method for Isabela's Hair w/ Red Scarf? I see there's one for the blue via the alternative method, but not one for the red. All I need is the crazy character string for it.

I've recently discovered the wonderful world of modding Xbox saves - I've used Pygff a little to edit attack speed etc for bugs, but nothing beyond that.
EDIT: I think the Dalish assassin you meet with the ex-werewolf has similar hair - could Hawke's be replaced with that in a different colour, or would it screw up because it's an elf hairstyle?

if its a pc mod you cant BUT if there is a npc with that aircut you should be able to do it and the fact that its elf hair
i cant say but elf tattoo work so i guess hair to
also the color would be the one you have before moding like me i used isabela hairstyle on a blonde so the hair are blonde
Edit: to do it you would need to use one of the 2 method so you would have to find either the chinese line to use in gff or the four digit code for hex editing and i dont know were SelphieSk got them

Worth a try if I can find the hex code for the Dalish Assassin then (or possibly Huon the mage - I think he has same)?
I shall try to hunt one down and give it a lash - I'd love to see my Hawke with that hair.

With a perm ban you forfeit all your DLC and lose your LIVE subscription (neither can be accessed via another GT). If you get caught multiple times modding your ****, then your actual console gets banned. Just look at the account suspension forum on the official boards to see people get perm suspensions. Even if it's their first time - no second chances.
Imo, acquiring a new hair style or two isn't worth losing 100's of £/$'s worth of DLC over.
People really should be aware of what they're risking rather than telling them half truths.
Just to prove I'm not being a drama queen and taken from the code of conduct:
Some offenses warrant an immediate permanent suspension, including
without limitation: hacking, modding, fraud, severe racial remarks,
nudity on the Xbox LIVE Vision camera or Kinect camera, repeated
creation of inappropriate gamertags or profile content, or posting
viruses or URLs to viruses
