Not seeing anywhere else to post this, here seemed like the best place to do so. So here it goes:

Basic Details:

This is a review for the N7 Armor Stripe Hoodie, size 3XL, that I ordered on the 28th of March. This was being shipped to me in the UK.

Service:

I have to say the quality of service I recieve from the Bioware Store has been very high. They were very quick to answer after I voiced concerns that my order was reading as 'pending fullfilment' and I didn't know exactly what that meant, and seemed more that happy to answer my questions, and help to track just where my order was. Now, the order status display could do with a few tweaks to stop you from worry about what pending fulfilment means, but thats just a minor quibble.

However, I do have one complaint. The order tracking number I received has been next to useless. Since it only tracks once it arrives in the UK, I had no idea how far through shipping in the US my order was. Every time I check it all it said was 'no events for this number logged yet', so I could be genuinely worried about where my order was. This only changed today, by which time it was pointless to have as my order was in my hands before i'd checked the tracking website.

Now considering, that from the date of my order, to delivery into my hands after having to be shipped from the US to the UK has been only 9 days, this is a little moot and i must commend the Bioware store team for being able to ship out things so quickly.

It would just be nice to be able to track my order before it enters the UK, and to get some sort of estimated delivery time for roughly how long it will take to ship.

Product:

Now as said, I ordered an N7 armor stripe hoodie, in charcoal, size 3XL, and this is exactly what has arrived. No screw ups or substitutions or any other messing about. no complaints there.

As for the prouct quality, the material is very good quality, thick and very warm. Alot warmer then another fleece top I have. It also has a much higher percentage of cotton. Its very comfortable to wear, and being a big chap, its why I ordered the 3XL after checking the size chart. However, its baggy enough that I'm pretty sure a 2XL would have fit just as well.

Overall I'm extremely happy with the quality and comfort of my new hoodie. however, there are two small flaws. A small, about 1cm long bit of stitching in one of the sleve cuffs is undone. This however is nothing to worry about, i've seen clothing before in good quality stores with bigger stitching faults and this tiny gap is nothing that a couple of catch stitchs won't fix. The stitching either side of the gap though is still strong, and despite tugging at it hasn't come appart, so i'm confident if I'd not noticed this the hoodie wouldn't have ripped or fallen appart on me.

The other slight flaw is in the vinyl that makes the stripe at the shoulder. Overall the vinyl is very thick, much better quality that you'd find on say a football shirt, and looks well bonded to the material, so it won't come off without alot of abbuse and mistreatment. The flaw is that at the shoulder seem where the sleve is stitched to the main body, the texture of the stripe is a little rough. Not patchy or not covering, more like theres been a slight excess of vinyl applied that has been touched while tacky and drying and so is very slightly rough and spiked compared to  the smoothness down the rest of the arm. Again, this isn't really noticable, or detractory from the overall quality of the product, but I felt it worth mentioning.

Score:

Overall, I'm giving the service an 8/10 for the few slight niggles with it I mentioned. Nothing world shattering, but it would be nice to see the points address for peace of mind.

The actual hoodie, a 9/10. Theres room for improvement with the quality control of the finish I feel, but I can definately see myself buying much more from the bioware store, and would recomend it to friends to buy from.
