What would happen if your warden met your hawke?

Then again, it also depends on where in the storyline they met. The warden was in Lothering, but if she saw Hawke, it probably ended there. Hawke doesn't strike me as the kind of person who needed anything, and that's what my warden did, helped people. Anybody that had something for her to do, she did. Ater all, funding a war isn't cheap.
If they met after the Circle rebellion, it would more likely turn out to be a "here we go again" moment for both of them and they would agree to stand together to end this mess. Then the only question would be "who is leading?" Both of them ended up being gay, the warden with Leliana, (who ran off. Grr), and Hawke with Isabela. My warden did "know" Isabela, so there might even be a little of that on the side. All in all, I would certainly have fun with it. :}

You know, OP, you've just given me an idea for a fanfic. I think I'll write this. Maybe I'll be able to return to normal after this is out...
That's a brilliant idea. The only question is, "when in the timeline do they meet?" At Lothering, after Awakenings, after 2? There's so many interesting places for their paths to cross. Ooo, maybe, they crossed at all of these times and never really noticed one another until after 2. Good stuff, good stuff.

I don't think it would be much of a fight, either. (AW/SH/Keeper mage with Avernus talents vs Assassin/Shadow rogue and Vengeance/Anders) She'd drop Anders hard and fast, then give Hawke her full attention. He'd be toast.

Though, now you've got me thinking. My warden and Hawke are female. Leliana friggin' bolted, but it said that Isabela will never leave Hawke, so there's 3... but who would be #4... hmmm....

They'll form quite a group: The Warden, Hawke, Leliana, Cassandra, Merill, and King Alistair working together to end the war.

My dual-wielding Rogue Warden (See pic left) would hardly give MageHawke a second glance, but Hawke would probably ask him for help in bringing about a peaceful solution to the whole Mage-Templar War. My Warden groan with annoyance, tell Bhelen he's on his own for a while, and head to the surface under Hawke's leadership.

If you're talking about Merril, she isn't actually the Warden's sister. She was... imported, I guess you could say, from a different clan because the Warden's clan needed a first and no child in the clan fit the bill.

Hawke: Fantastic! Time for gossip, and making fun of the idiots we chose for lovers. You know you kinda look like me...

Aleyna Cousland and Morgan Hawke would probably get on eventually, although the diplomatic queen of Ferelden would find the aggressive Champion a bit abrasive at first. They'd agree on freedom for mages and most of the other big issues, although Aleyna prefers to solve problems by talking rather than by lopping off heads with her two-hander. If they could find a mage, they'd even have a balanced party!
Abigail Hawke was impressed that her second cousin Bran Amell became the Hero of Ferelden and secretly looked up to him as a mage role model. If they ever actually met, though, she'd find out about the blood magic and how ruthless he is and then she might not be so keen to follow in his footsetps. Either way she would be sarcastic about it. She also thought his lover was pretty cute when she helped Zevran deal with his small Antivan Crow problem and he turned up to assist with Meredith, but I imagine Fenris wouldn't approve if she asked to borrow him from her cousin.

My "canon" Warden is Laicoriel Tabris, a dual-wielding warrior City Elf who romanced Alistair but had to let him go when he became king. She also secretly had a thing for Anders, but was still too heartbroken over Alistair to persue him.
My "canon" character in DA2 is Kira Hawke, a dual-wielding rogue who...romanced Anders.
Laicoriel was occasionally snarky, but diplomatic and principled. She always preferred talking her way out of fights if she could, and she always made what she felt was the morally right decision--even if it blew up in her face sometimes. The only time she really compromised was in the end with Morrigan's ritual. She couldn't bear the thought of putting Alistair in danger, so she talked him into sleeping with Morrigan, even though she was worried about what the consequences of it would be (and it made her a little jealous).
Kira, uh...well, was a sarcastic, stubborn, thrill-seeking Chaotic Neutral sort of gal. She didn't like attacking people she saw as innocents, but she had no issues with attacking anyone she could justify simply for the thrill of the fight. She was also fiercely loyal to the few people she cared about to a fault--she wouldn't do anything that could place Bethany in danger, and once she realized her feelings for Anders she became pretty obsessive over him. It hit the point where she'd do anything, ANYTHING to keep Anders at her side.
...so yeah, long story short, if the two of them met Laicoriel would probably express extreme disappointment and frustration over the spoilery things Anders got himself involved in, and would be jealous of Kira and probably even blame her amoral, violent personality for influencing Anders. Kira would recent Laicoriel interferring with her relationship, support Anders' decisions, and would probably use any excuse Laicoriel gave to end up in a fight with her.
Overall, I don't think it'd go well...
