When you tell the party to hold, if you get a certain distance away, they will still start trying to move closer to Hawke. I know this didn't happen in Origins, so I'm wondering if it's a bug.

Dear God, I hope so.
It gets quite frustrating if you're putting the party on hold so you can maneuver yourself to the other side of the room to disable traps, only for them to die agonizing saw-and-pike deaths by following you anyway.

I hate this too. If I say "Stay put" they better listen. It might be a 'feature' though.

Yeah, it's annoying, but it's not a bug. Just seems to be they're 'tethered' to you beyond a certain proximity. DA2 seems less concerned about staging ambushes (unlike Origins), so the need to split and position the party isn't as necessary.
