A few that come to mind.
Kane and Lynch-This piece of crap game is the reason we never saw a sequel to the masterpiece Freedom Fighters! IO said they were making a Freedom Fighters 2 but then at the last minute said they wanted to focus on a new intellectual property and not only did it totally suck, but it was also responsible for the firing of Jeff Gerstmann just because he wasn't afraid to call it out as the worthless piece of crap that it is.
It's also the reason it's been so long since we've seen a new Hitman game. Fortunately though it looks like after the disastrous reception of Kane and Lynch 2 that IO has finally pulled their head out of their buttcracks and are finally back to work on a new Hitman game.
World of Warcraft-The game reinforces a lot of negative stereotypes about gamers and it's also the reason why we'll likely never see a Warcraft IV.
Heavy Rain-I thought that the Sega-CD's demise would finally bring an end to the dreaded era of interative movie style games. Unfortunately, Heavy Rain's success may have proven me wrong.
Too Human-After creating Eternal Darkness which is one of the best games ever made, Silicon Knights decided to spend over 50 million dollars creating this flop with terrible controls and it turns out that most of the game's budget went in developing a new engine since they didn't want to use the Unreal 3 engine yet the engine they ended up producing looks and performs worse than the Unreal 3 engine anyways.
This game was a colossal waste of time and money for both the developers and consumers.
Deus Ex:Invisible War-This game actually wasn't bad. In fact it did some things better than the original game even such as giving us a truly open ended, non-linear plot where our choices really mattered.
However, the actual gameplay was so dumbed down that the only thing I could think of while playing the game is how much better the original game played. Skill system was gone, environments were claustrophobic and had no exploration in contrast to the huge environments of the first game, and atmosphere and plot felt more like a cheesy sci-fi setting rather than a bleak dystopian outlook like in the original game. The universal ammo clips were such a bad idea that I'm convinced there is no way someone as smart as Warren Specter could've imagined it as being a good idea. It must've been some disgruntled programmer who put it in at the last minute. Easily the worst feature about Invisible War and I'm pleased that Deus Ex:Human Revolution will NOT have this shameful feature.
On it's own merits, it's a decent game but the backlash from fans was the most ferocious I have ever seen. They felt completely betrayed and it hurt the sales enough for it to effectively put Warren Specter's career on hiatus speaking of which...
Epic Mickey:The final nail in the coffin for Warren Specter. This game could've been his glorious comeback but the terrible camera, controls, and boring gameplay have all but assured that this once great game designer has jumped the shark. Unlike Deus Ex:Invisible War which I thought was a decent game but a dissapointing sequel, I thought Epic Mickey flat out SUCKED! Super Mario Galaxy 2 feels a generation or two ahead of it.
Ultima IX: Most of the Ultima games are a little before my time(I'm 27) but I did play Ultima VII and it was one of the first computer RPGs I ever played and to this day remains one of my favorites. It was a shame that Ultima VIII was vastly inferior but Ultima IX was the final kick in the quad. What's especially deperssing about it is that it actually wasn't a terrible game, but it was SO buggy that it was unplayable and some of the patches released for it made things even worse. I gave up in frustration as did many other gamers apparently since this game is the game that killed Richard Garriot's career.
Bioshock: Why couldn't they have made a System Shock 3 instead? Bioshock had a great atmosphere and plot but it was way too easy, too linear and it's weapons didn't feel in the least bit satisfying. It's not a bad game but System Shock 2 was FAR FAR better.
Sonic 2006:This game killed Sonic for me. Even though Sonic Colours was pretty damn good I just cannot bring myself to liking the mascot after this travesty. The wounds may heal but it will take more than one good game to do so. Oh yeah and Sonic 4 sucked too and Sega needs to realize that going forward doesn't mean going backwards.
