Revvy Soldier IS the best soldier build.

I have a mod on my 360 in which I have the Revvy, Claymore. and Widow

I find myself using the Revvy 75% Claymore 20% and Widow 5%

The Claymore on the Soldiers is a lot more rewarding than the Widow Soldierr

A Widow soldier is an efficient sniper, and a Claymore soldier may be seen as 'gimped", but here's Gatsby's video:

I like what he said: "Taking the Claymore forces you use every single weapon that you have to the best of its abililties"

In that regard, I find the Claymore soldier more rewarding. Sure, using Widow/AR kills faster, but it doesn't expose you to other aspects of the gameplay that are just as enoyable/challenging.

Exactly my sentiment...

Getting back to Claymore soldier. I brough up Hardened AR because in the OP video, some of the kills look like overkills: like killed the guy and his next of kin.

Since im mostly a Mattock+GPS+Widow soldier, you can expect me to switch weapons a lot. You can see that in my Object Rho video. My main issue with a Claymore is its horrible accuracy at a soldier's normal engagement range. With Vanguard u can charge every 6 seconds recharging your shields and transporting right infront of the enemy, the ideal place to use a claymore. With soldier its just slow.

The most fun I've had with a soldier build was one using the claymore. Strip defenses at long range w/viper, close in for kills with the AR and claymore at point blank range ;) oh and a bit of slam use here and there during reloads.

I was considering doing a Claymore!Soldier, but it really felt like having the GPS on a Soldier almost makes the Claymore redundant for that class.

I almost never use the Widow these days for the Soldier, only the Infiltrator (I like constant Sniper Slow Down). But I have seen your vids and you are ace even just normal sniping...I never argued it was the most efficient, but for me the Claymore is the most fun for the Soldier...I like the feeling of getting up close and blasting away, what can I say?:o
