Or you can't seriously call DA2 a cRPG? maybe a adventure cRPG, but Action cRPG seems more apt.

Also I don't remember you being forced to have sex at any time in the Witcher, always optional if I remember it correct, wait you might have gotten raped at one point, or semi raped, but anyway.

& is the Witcher a Action RPG? yes, and no - for one its an open world, you can go anywhere, and you can turn down the difficulty to the point that you won't ever die more or less; the casual is there for those who doesn't want to fight and just want the story etc.

Yep. In light of the scenes in ME2, DAO and DA2, almost everyone I've seen comment on it has said ME1 did it excellently. And yet ... well, here we are.

I saw a fantastic comic on this subject yesterday ... I'll try and find it again and post it. It was pretty funny.

My obviously non 100% serious comment was meant to elaborate how I don't excactly care about this sort of thing at all. I could  totally live without the sex scenes, having the scene fade to black even before the awkward kissing and groping. Having realistic, revealing sex scenes being shoved to my face while playing a computer game (especially if my fiancé is sitting right next to me, like sitting shoulders almost together distance) isn't something I highly enjoy.

I'm totally fine with BW awkwardness cos' it keeps things rather innocent still (LOL at ME1 sex scene fuss). Then again you can always press ESC so I honestly don't know what I'm talking about....moving on, nothing to see here...

I suspect it has more to do with the well developed world, the consequential gameplay and the fact that CD Projekt has listened to its consumers and are set on delivering a vastly improved product. The pixel porn, as you put it, is merely icing on the cake.

Regardless what I was really saying Is I'd love more options and fades to black, than highly limited options just for juicy cinematics. Just so we're clear I have no moral objection to such scenes. Just that to put them in they have to make a cut from somewhere else.

It's not like Dragon Age II featured much choice to begin with past the character creation which was considerably downsized from Origins. You're railroaded into the exact same conclusion regardless of what you say or do. I can't say I place much importance in such illusions. But that is neither here or there.

That said, BioWare is obviously set on the whole cinematic presentation thing. I'd just like to see them do it properly.

I like the more realistic non puritan approach if it fits the plot. CD project in Europe at least, doesn't have to deal with the hysteria over a nipple being seen(Janet Jackson), here in the US there was wailing in the streets and gnashing of teeth over that.

I lol'd at one woman (part of the main quest) telling me to anal her on the nearby rock in front of everyone if I get her a ring. Thanks but no thanks. Seriously? Who made The Witcher? Teens who dream of sex every second of their lives?

And those idiots calling me troll are just plain stupid. They voice their opinions and thus I can voice mine. Porn and nudity doesn't make a game good expecially when it's thrown at you every minute.

It pretty much has a cult following here in Yurop, I wouldn't bet much on it.

All the Collector's Editions were sold out as pre-orders a few weeks ago here.

Yeah it's also about building a character which you do in DA2. People claim DA2 is dumbed down. Wait till you play Witcher. No choice of class, gender or apperance or personality. Have fun.

The least of DA2's problems, but I guess it would improve the immersion... It's true that you see FAR more in a 12A movie than you do in an 18 game. It's just a matter of time IMO.
