Where did I say I was fine with that? My first two characters are GOOD characters. Killing is not just for the sake of it. Same goes for The Witcher, you kill monsters but when SEX is thrown at you just for the sake of it. It's NOT FINE.

Well its still according to lore! In Witcher world Geralt is hot stud immune to STD and cant get girl pregnant + he has this ubermench stamina, strengh and is pretty much well versed in sex ... this is who he is ... its not forced

You have to seek them out, usually involves quest or gathering flowers or something. No one is forcing you to do that.

Optional content you know. So your whining sounds unfair.

And as for you saying that witcher is action rpg, there is lots of non combat things in witcher. Quest that you can solve without killing anyone minigames and stuff. Again none of these are in DA2.

That is why DA2 is more of an action rpg than witcher.

The readily available sexual encounters in TW simply reflect the medieval setting where prostitution was a fact of life -- and still is to date.

But a player is not required to jump into bed with every lady that gives them a passing glance. In fact, in the original Witcher you could treat the prostitutes as a faction and set about improving their working conditions. When people focus simply on the sex scenes and sex cards they are overlooking the deeper aspects of how sexual relations were dealt with in that era (a fantasy setting based on medieval lore).

Seriously though, I don't see that happening at all.  Each of the developer diaries I've seen suggest a well thought out improvement plan, slowly moving towards a console friendly gameplay style, and building on a tremedously rich dark fantasy literature base.  You get a good glimpse of the "love for the genre" that went into the process.

I had 2 roomates like that while in college. They demanded i asked before i changed because "naked bodies are pornographic"

if it is the same as TW1 then it would be okay when we get the timing right click swing 1, 2, 3, click and so on... how ever if they have chance in to more diablo style combat I would have my doube that my fingers would survive it for long

now for the main question to be honest I have played both DA both me and TW and yet it is not the romance scenes that keep me comming back to them for they are just a bonus.

So I will say this... so what if TW2 have great love scenes if they are not importen for the story or plot of the game then I would rather be without them and as long that I have not play TW2 I will not comment if I think it is better or worse then other games I have played.

and note about PG if it is rated +18 then the game makers should not care if parents / media or even govement think it is not good of kids or teens as the game is rated +18 which means not for people under the age of 18

this is one of the think I do not like I have very often seen parents buy games or movies that are rated high +16 and up for there 8 year old kids and then ran screaming on to the media saying that the bad company are destroying their youth and minds

ask yourself a question - in RL what community would you prefer to live in :
