Edit: From a non-romanced perspective Isabella does seem like a shallow ****. If you romance her you find out there is more to her than that mask.

Yes, out of the two women you can romance in this game, Isabela is the only one worth it. A complete failure on BioWare's part, naturally.

lol, this is exactly what I was thinking. OP makes it sounds like out of the millions and millions of Rock's fans women in Kirkwall, only one was worth it.

Well in Origins the choice of men was pretty lousy (from my perspective): Zevran or Whiny McWhinyson. (My opinion of Alistair's manliness decreased in every playthrough, until now Steve Valentine's voice just grates on me, and I LIKE STEVE VALENTINE. If they bring him back for another cameo in a later game, I may have a seizure.)

So, it's the girl's turn I guess.

And the choice of women in that game was good?  There was a religious nut who thinks God talks to her through plants, and...  don't even get me started on Morrigan.  I'd sooner stick it in a pirahna tank.

I think he was more referring to Morrigan's lack of clothing than personality.

Edit: The above might be interpretted that Morrigan also had a lack of personality, I did not mean it that way.

her reactions to the main character doing things are just like morrigan. Any selfless act or one that isnt "practical" nets rep loss with her. Straight-shooter or hard ass options will net positive rep.

they are exactly the same to me. Miranda Lawson is also just like those two. It's the typical Bioware fem-hero archetype.

I like this post and will quote it to further spread it's goodness to others so that they too may be enlightened.

I do have one problem with Isabela though, her being a companion seems to have removed the possibility of having a foursome with her. A shame.

Well... If you want Dragon aids then go with Isabela. She hits on everything with a pulse, even after she tells your character she loves him/her, then you find Zevran, she actually tells him to have sex with her..

She belongs in the Blooming Rose and not as the champions romance imo.

I agree.  There's almost no similarity.  Even less similarity with Miranda.  You can't take the most minor similarities and claims they're all alike.

I always thought that was very considerate of her.
