So Far in the Dragon Age series, We've gone from 9:30 Dragon to 9:40 Dragon, correct?
So how many games are going to be in the franchise? Will the franchise change names if it passes 9:99 Dragon?
At this rate...

It would be then known as Dragon Y2K.
How far will it go? Nobody knows.

Hmm i wonder what the next age would be called?
It's hard to sound more hardcore than that. they should make a prequel called "Blessed Age"

They could do anything from continue to another Age or go back to already used timelines but have another country and character in focus.
All depends on how well the franchise keeps selling and how long Bioware think they can keep pushing out ideas that have to do with this fantasy world.

No way to tell.So how many games are going to be in the franchise?
No. You don't change a franchise name without a good marketing reason. Will the franchise change names if it passes 9:99 Dragon?
Buldar's Gate II didn't have anything to do with Buldar's Gate.

It will end up like WH40K, stuck forever in an infinitely long year 40999

Depending what happens with the Chantry etc in the next game, it's possible the current calender system may be replaced. It could end up being Dragon Age for a long time to come

Thedas is a vast place, and say for example that the next title takes place in Orlais and is not about Hawke. Then it could take place roughly during the same time as DA2. This way Bioware can release several titles without having to use up to much time of the Dragon age.
