Can someone please make love scenes that aren't so short? I don't care about nudity, but it would be nice to see something that's more involved. Especially with Fenris. It would be nice if after the making out on the wall scene, there was a scene where it shifts to Hawke's bedroom and it shows them kissing, and Hawke leading Fenris to the bed and being tender with him. Sort of like Anders and Merrill's scene, but longer.

Thanks to anyone who decides to take that on.

What I've heard (take this with a grain of salt, I could be wrong) is that we can't really edit the existing cutscenes. We'd have to make new ones from scratch.

But I want a "felicitate me" scene XD

That's okay. Maybe one of those talented modders can make a really good naked Fenris skin. I'd be fine with nudity if someone can do it right.

While I do agree with better romance scenes, I never liked how modders handled DA:O such as the mod W.I.P.

But the current scenes are blegh adn in my opinion sometimes even imersion breaking

Really? I actually quite liked the DA2 scenes. Isabela's and Anders' are probably the best as they fit perfectly with the characters in question. Without being explicit, they managed to be emotionally engaging, particularly Anders' scene. Although the out-of-breath kiss scene prior to the romance was probably a little steamier and sexier than the actual sex. 

This being said, I wouldn't object to one more scene playing Act 3 or something. I feel like a relationship that lasts this long should be just a bit more involved. The Anders' romance has a natural spot for such a scene during the conversation at Hawke's house right in the beginning of the act, though I don't know about the others.

While theoretically possible, I don't think it would work depending on whether or not the cutscene requires a specific area; it seems the area layouts are not only in a different format, but packed in rim files that we can't access with the current toolset.

The DA2 romance scenes were more tasteful that the DAO ones which were fairly silly.

I'd be happy if someone would just line the kisses up properly. The post-sex kiss with m!Hawke and Anders is painful, as is the pre-sex kiss with m!Hawke and Fenris.

I will agree with you there. Although being fully clothed start to finish is a little odd. I mean, maybe I'm in the minority here but fully dressing (in armor, sometimes!) isn't usually high on my list of priorities after "special alone time" with someone.

Still, as you said, much prefer them over DA:O sexytimes.

This. When Lady hawke kisses Fenris, it looks like she's kissing the air next to his chin, and when they flip and he's against the wall, he seems to be inhaling her nose.

It's a side-effect of the fixed companion appearances, most likely. I think there is something in the cutscene that triggers the love interest's outfit change which is why they are dressed afteward, even if Hawke isn't.

I LOVED the DAO love scenes! I didn't think they were silly, I thought they managed to be erotic and beautiful, without being too explicit. I was really impressed with the game for having the guts to do something like that. It was so personal.

Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed that DA2 cut them. I at least wanted to see Fenris shirtless. Even just a quick flash to my Man!Hawke throwing Fenris on the bed or something. C'moooon. The game is already rated M, what's the problem?

You're probably right.

I still think it's very lazy to not at least do shirtless versions. They seemed to put a lot of thought into the scenes to make them feel realistic just to kinda trip at the finish line witih this, imo.

In order to create cutscenes for DA2, as far as I understand the *only* way would be with an updated toolset, since cutscenes use resources from the game in question, and those are not accessible as usable resources within the current DA:O Toolset unfortunately. i.e. characters, settings, areas, script association settings, audio and anything else they upgraded/changed with regards to cutscene mechanics.
True, they are very similar in the way they are used, but I for example could not open a cutscene that accesses resources the toolset does not recognize.

Even if I were to try and export a dummy cutscene and replace a current one, it still needs to have characters that are mapped correctly to a DA2 area (room) have the correct attached end cutscene script, not to mention it would be pretty hard to imagine where they are located within that room without having that room for position reference.

Hmm.... I like the scenes that we have in Act 2. The-up-against-the-wall-Fenris one is awesome. As is the Anders kiss and making out afterwards. So far my rivalmances haven't really played out as I wished =) so the only romance I've seen through Act 3 is Merrill on romance. I would really like it if there was some romance scene in Act 3 as well if there isn't one for Anders. Doesn't sound like there is one. But I do prefer the DA2 scenes to the DA:O scenes =) for me they convey more emotion.

Fade to black...only problem is it's before things got even remotely hot, but we're left to assume it went beyond smooching on the bed. Fully dressed Anders *afterwards*, though, bugs me. House clothing for Anders, please!

With Fenris, slam-up-against-the-wall hot kiss. Fade to black. More hot kissing would be nice, but, eh, ok. Nothing out of place, here, even with him being fully dressed afterwards - he was only hanging around for you to wake up to say goodbye, since he leaves no matter what.

Isabela, *pounce* and then you carry her to the bed, the stripping beginning by tossing daggers everywhere. Fade to black, where we must assume the stripping continues and wild sex takes place. Then back in, and dressing is taking place.

We never actually see anything remotely like SEX, it all takes place in the 'fade to black' parts, so we can't say anything is ever out of place or awkward (aside from misaligned kissing). I wish there could have been some ME1-ish scenes during the fade-to-black portions, but BioWare seem scared of that, now.

 Merrill's scene is as sweet as she is, and there's 'after' dialogue that is very tender- but I agree, make it more exciting for god sake, even if it's under the sheets- I mean there was nudity on the PS2 years ago...I loved the hot scenes with DA:O, but they were still tame. How can they hide that bod of Isabella like that??? It's a SIN!!

I totally agree, I am not sure what Bioware were doing with the recent romances but the ME1 scenes were the finest I have seen. I know it's bad publicity but they have to just suck it up and give us something like ME1 once more, tasteful and implied. I mean I liked how the scenes played out in DA2 but they just seemed so...Cut up...Spontaneously back in clothing just sucks in my opinion. I just wish the media would stop demonizing sex in video games, makes me think of an Outer Circle comic honestly. Sex being a natural part of life and something rather intimate is not accepted -yet- murder and dismemberment is accepted with the right rating and it is something outside of normal moral conventions.
