I got say, I cant get tired of Hawke I usally play with a sarcastic personalty so its a laugh/giggle/chuckle after another with him even when a very serious matter is going on he just make a joke of it.
So I wanted to find out what is your favorite Hawke:
Is it the straight forward and respectul Diplomatic?
Or perhaps the always witty one-liner Sarcastic?
Or maybe the In-your-Face, gonna go all-out Agreessive?
So you guys tell me what personalty do you like best? That flavor that always draws you back even though you dont want to, and also what is your favorite line with that personalty?
As I said my favorite is the Sarcastic/Witty Hawke and one of my favorite lines is:
"Why is it always Hawke to the rescue?"

Your gonna regret posting this thread
Where do i start?
FemHawk Agressive. In the Hanged man when speaking to DeLuancet in the on the loose quest, this has the BEST lines in the whole game for gags.
DeLauncet: Huh? Are u a mage, because u mage-icked my breath away
FemHawk: I need a bath after hearing that.....
Then later on:
FemHawk: If I catch you trying to sneak out of a window, you will be very sorry!
FemHawk: Fine! Go away and do whatever!
Though "I left your teeth so you can talk" never gets old either.
Although my personal favourite of all time would have to be Sarcastic ""It looks like they took him to some bolt hole on the Wounded Coast. I wonder if that's near the Injured Cliffs? The Limping Hills? Massive-Head-Trauma Bay? No? Just me? Forget I said anything."
"Oooh, cloak and dagger phrases! How about...the queasy crow...flies at midnight?"
"How about the smart arse fereldan gets a punch in the mouth?"
"Seems to me that the last man standing gets the final say in who is right or wrong."
"A bow is much better. You can't shoot your family at a bandit and stop him dead between the eyes." (To Sebastian)
So I shouldn't slit my wrists and dance naked under the moonlight just to fit in?"
To ser Varnell upon accepting the Sherpharding wolves quest (he standing by the door with his blade drawn) "Drop it or lose the hand!"
"Where are we going? How should I know? Do I look like the leader of this merry band of misfits?"
Ahh good times

I usually play sarcastically, since thats me in real life lol. Somtimes respectful/peaceful in serious situations, but later playthroughs I just went all sarcasm.
I would be interested to know any hilarious aggressive lines, they tend to be (as named) aggressive rather than funny though.

I really liked the decisive/aggressive tone. I played it true and through in my second play, and though many choices seem somewhat "harsh" in the description, it turns out that the actual text was not so negative after all. In the end, I found this tone to be the best at defining your own Hawke's personality. That tone often made the companions react in exactly the way I wanted them to. Hawke has to take side and stand up for what he believes in instead of trying to please everyone

That definately was one of my favourites! My actual favourite would have to be:
"Don't worry, helping people and killing people are what I'm best at" in response to Macha's asking for help.
Her awkward reply..uhh i would hope that killing people won't be necessary is gold!
Other good ones include:
Aggressive Hawke to petrice's weird templar bodyguard - 'Drop it or lose the hand'
Warrior hawke punching that demon in the face..
umm there's heaps but i can't really remember them word for word.

Hard in Hightown: Siege Harder. What does that even mean? Varric must be stopped. The only line in the game that made me laugh out loud. Boulton delivers it like a champ.
Well, at least it can't get any worse. Today, anyway, it's pretty late.

Snarky and aggressive are both good. Diplomatic is just dull.

When Aveline comes for help with the templar in the "All that remains" questline. WHen she asks you to look into it, the snarky response is "Muzzle the geezer! Got it." in a hilarious accent too!

I rarely commit to one specific personality, I honestly like mixing all three; nice/diplomatic, aggresive and sarcastic...However sarcastic Hawke is pretty hilarious! :-D. So I'll go with a mainly sarcastic Hawke that is nice/diplomatic in places....with aggresive tendencies when anything happens involving Hawkes loved ones.

I haven't played an aggressive Hawke yet but I did see part of my brother play through as one. I think one of the funniest lines was him handing a guy in the Chantry the skeleton of one of his colleages and saying "Your garbage, serah!" His reaction made it even funnier,

This is a one at the Faith quest, when Sebastian ask for your help and Hawke with Varric says:
Hawke: Why is everyone looking at me?
Varric: Choir Boy here just didnt shout "Hawke to the Rescue!", that pretty much what he meant.
I think that how he said but not sure but it made me laugh for a while, I do think Witty Hawke, Varric and Isabela make one of the best trio of funny lines

My favorite personality is a combination of all three, mostly funny/sarcastic with a generous helping of diplomatic and a light sprinkling of direct/aggressive. But when I play the way I like best I tend to miss out on the really cool personality skills like being able to use charm/intimidate/persuade effectively. So I usually commit to just one so I get all the perks.

Since my first Hawke is based on me, his personality tends to be excactly like mine.
Which means, Diplomatic for the most part.
I can't even see why would someone wan't to joke about the death of Saemus!

I love sarcasticHawke, because half the time she just sounds insane. like she's living in her own little world by her own rules. It's hilarious, and it seems like she just doesn't care what people think about her. And being completely apathetic about the morality of the world is great too. Reminds me of a more cheerful version of Shale.
AggressiveHawke is also great, because if I'm playing a serious character, I love that no-nonsense, get the job done attitude. And aggressiveHawke genuinely seems to feel strongly about certain things, like when she hands over the bag of bones. By comparison, diplomatic feels too placating to me.
If I want serious, I go aggressive. If I want mellow, I go sarcastic. I've only done diplomatic once, for variety, but it wasn't as satisfying.

I don't remember the act or quest, but you are in one of the caves on sundermount and hawke says something along the lines of "Come out now! Unless you are a Dragon, then nevermind."
Its not exact, I can't remember what is said but I loved it.
