Anders and Cullen

It could be a combination of Anders being in solitary, Cullen being new/too busy ogling Surana/Amell to notice the male mages or something else. He does seem to be assigned to guarding the Senior mage quarters and attending Harrowings - perhaps if Templars aren't moved around much in their assignments they don't get to know all the mages?
Oh - OP - grats on your first thread. I've never been brave enough to start one myself.

Ugh, my first thread on biowares forum has turned into a room for fangirls to drool over an impossible couple =__=''
Well, you DID bring up Cullenand Anders. Some things are inevitable.
(but I still need some brain bleach, myself)

But I don't need brain bleach for Cullen, I need it for Cullen-and-Anders. I mean... ew!

But anyways about the topic the OP originally thought of. I imagined that Anders had already escaped when Cullen came to the tower or something.

Oh, and as far as I'm concerned, regardless of what's in game, Anders/Cullen is canon.
Great, now how am I gonna get THAT out of my mind ever again? <_<

My Hawke is rivalmancing Anders. She went along with the Justice quest and then called him on his emotional manipulation. (Rivalmancing is so fun. Angry, bitter arguments for every interaction!) The next time I took them to the Gallows, I walked 'em up to Cullen and started a conversation. Hawke tells the good knight-captain she's concerned that one of her companions is plotting against the Chantry (a star dialogue-wheel option). Anders steps forward with the best "WTF, Hawke?" reaction. Side-eyeing him, Cullen supposes that he doesn't need to guess who Hawke is talking about, and thanks her for the warning.
I wish more came of the conversation, but boy, it does make me laugh, every single time. (And miss Anders's old VA.)

To be fair, they don't sound too much alike. Very different tone and all.
Anders and Cullen were voiced by the same guy in DA:O/Awakening ;p
Thus the lost opertunity for a joke, "Hey, as much as I hate templars, even I have to admit there's something.. charming, about that one.." *smarmy smirk*
I know. I said Greg Ellis does the characters with a very different tone. Someone did a vid where Cullen was replaced by Anders, and all I saw was Anders who sounded like Cullen. Not Awakening Anders.

Mildly OT, but I have to share my joy over a scene with these two characters. I'm keeping an Act 3 save of it so I can replay it whenever I want.

Thanks for sharing this. Because I haven't twisted the psycho mage into enough knots yet, I must try it out.

About the same voice, I'm waiting for someone to place some Anders banter on a Cullen clip. (Like someone did with Jethann/Shepard.) I want to see Cullen say "not when I'm naked."
Seconded.

Really!? I wonder if works for just rivals and not romancing? I'll have to be a patsy for Anders and finish Justice I suppose. Then it might be time to visit 'an old friend'.
Stirring up Janders is fun. I got great joy out of his reaction in Act 1 when you tell Cullen that mages need to be watched....haha!
