So there's this cute girl at work...

Sup gentiles, there's this really cute girl at my work, and we work at a huge store where they sell things, but we work in different departments (she's a sales clerk/restocker/etc. and I operate the phones). Well we see each other like everyday, and I swear sometimes she's checking me out. We haven't really spoken much other than casually talking just once.

I know this sounds rather cliche and like it's from a movie, but would it be awkward/socially unacceptable to make up an excuse to talk with her for a bit. And by that I mean something like asking her to help me find *insert product sold at the store here* and that would give us time to just talk. I could just approach her randomly or wait for her to approach me, but we're both usually pretty busy and we don't have the same break times. So I'm thinking about going with my original plan (make up an excuse to talk to her). So how does that sound? Anyone have any better ideas?

Yeah...I'd have to go with this one.
Your idea is a good one, but it's better to be a bit more up-front instead of risking becoming just a "friend"
Anyway...Good Luck Posted Image

A day doesn't go by without this troll writing another stupid thread about a girl. Maybe if he spent more time going out and meeting girls and less time trolling the off topic forum he'd have a girlfriend by now lol

If you're worried about being friendzoned, ask her out. You can go the low key coffee route or the more traditional dinner and movie.

Just don't ask her to accompany you on your patrol. That only leads to awkward conversations about bandits and smugglers.

Something tells me that if he spent more time going out and meeting girls he would end up with several restraining orders rather than a girlfriend.

Talk to her, it's worth a try anyway. If she really likes you then it will be just fine.

I've got the same problem. But I won't act on it. Do as you wish.

Then why are you asking for dating advice then? :)

Mark the area she works with urine, bite any other males who approach her, offer a fresh kill as a gift and proof of suitability, give a courteous sniff of her hindquarters and then after a few nips on her neck mount her repeatedly. You know the good old romantic way, never fails.

What norskatt said, mixing business with pleasure can be dangerous territory - I've seen it happen several times.

But women always go for badasses. Maybe I should try renegade?

Knocking her over the head with a club and drag her into your cave is an old fashioned way you could try too.

Not true. It is not that women hate nice guys. It is that women hate *boring* guys. A guy has to have more to offer than politeness and chivalry. No one wants a one dimensional flop, no matter how kindly he is.

Sounds like a blank ark of paper has a bigger chance than me when it comes to dimensions. :crying:

I added in the 5th item, as I knew you would forget the obvious weapon. I mean really as a harden criminal now dino you SHOULD always have a weapon and consider it part of any plan without need of it being listed. You dissapoint me.
