Well, at the very least, if you had Cailan's kid then you can maintain the Therin bloodline *and* live while Alistair becomes... expendable.

And you would get another 'companion', somewhere halfway through the game. Providing the game really spans about 2 years. Not sure if that companion will be a positive add to the team at that point though...

I recall this one mod for Morrowind where you could not only have babies, you could have them strapped to your back as you went into combat against vicious monsters.
It's more hilarious than you'd think.

Hahaha, that's awesome. xD Kinda wish we could have kids in this game now. :P

I'm sure that's too taboo for a major gaming company but that would be awesome in a game. If you ever saw a movie called "Shogun Assassin" or any of the original Japanese films in the "Baby Cart" series, you have an idea of how awesome playing with that idea could be.
:o

Bann Teagan would've been nice, I enjoyed his flirting while I was asking him about himself.  I like to think that maybe my character went to Redcliff post end-game to "check up" on him, once she'd gotten over the death of her beloved anyway.

But oh... Duncan, definitely Duncan! When I first laid eyes on him in the mage tower I was like, "Ooooh, I hope he's one of the romance options!" So very hot.

It would certainly make combat hilarious.

Iona as in Iona from the Human Noble origin right? Ah yes, poor Iona. Wish she would reappear. :(

What about Flemeth? Come on, don't look at me like that. She's mysterious, and... if age is an indication of experience... Could you imagine Morrigan's reaction if you dated her? Bwuahahaha...

I'm going to add my voice to Gorim, for my Lady Aeuducan (spelling..). Over the course of the Dwarf Noble Origin, I loved him, and was really hoping I could pick him up topside, and have him as a party member/romance. Sadly, that was not the case.

Ser Gilmore from the human noble story.

Gutted that I couldn't bring him with me.

I was sad also. I really had hopes we might be able to have a competent Grey Warden join up with us...Instead of the obligatory last of our kind... :(

Bann Teagan, although he might actually wed a certain someone from Redcliffe if you're extremely charitable. He was quite the charmer, though.

Gorim was my favorite Origin love-affair for sure. Good mix of raunchy flirting and genuine affection, and his awesome voice didn't hurt.

I, too, vote for Loghain, though. I adored his character in the book, and that's enough for me. :P

Slightly off-topic, but I was immensively disappointed we weren't allowed to make love with our romantic interest in the Deep Roads near/in one of those magic water basins. The books had me expecting that.

Bann Teagan, without a doubt. Such a masculine and handsome gentleman with a nice voice. Plus he seemed honorable and brave. Good husband material, I would say.

Bann Teagan can marry Bella? That oportunistic wench!!! Next time I'm sending her into the fire instead of Lloyd (that guy's really good at dying btw - had one playthrough where no one managed to die in Redcliffe battle but him)

LOL Lloyd was a monster in my 1st playthrough when I conscripted him, he kepts charging with bare fists and I had to keep him alive. It was good in the end though, after kissing Bella, Lloyd gave us the most PRICELESS look on his face. I almost fell off my chair laughing lol

To be fair, play your cards right and it is possible to marry her if you're a human noble.

Yes way.  There are a few conditions that need to be met and you have to be really persuasive, but it is possible.

I never tried cause I didn't think it possible, looks like I'm going to be doing just that on my current playthrough.

Cutest girl in the game, imo, was the Keeper's apprentice who becomes Keeper (I forget her name). As an elf, marry her and settle down with the Dalish at the end, that would be nice.

I spent my entire conversation with her thinking "I wonder how they got an elf to look like that" (probably not with the character creator.)

If he doesn't die then that'd be one annoying treehouse.

I married Anora and made the Godchild my own on my first play through. Go me.

I'm King, and my child, the rightful heir to the throne, is born with the soul of an Old God.

Win. Pure Win. I can die a happy PC.
