 I'm not too sure what I think of this, I don't really like the Anime style of cartoons but will give this a shot.  Halo Legends was ok, my biggest problem was they didn't get the orginal voice actors (Bioware, get the actual voice actors if you bring any characters back.)  The only Legends episode I liked was the Origins one, it had a decent overview of the series.  The first Dead Space one was on netflix so I watch that the other night, it wan't too bad except for some inconsitanceis with the game (marker size and color, and how the captain died)

I think I would prefer a CGI film (like Resident Evil Degeneration) over an Anime movie if given the choice.

Nah, every character will be voiced by one guy, even the women.

Funimation has had men play women in the past. But that is not what I meant. What I'm hoping is the people who are casted for the main characters in Mass Effect are not also casted as the main characters for Dragon Age.

To an extent I suppose, just providing examples to show that not all anime is full of brightly coloured characters with eyes taking up over 40% of their faces and scenery to match. The idea that anime can't achieve the same tones as Mass Effect is patently absurd, if one were to judge the style of an entire country's animation based on only a few mainstream examples one could say that all American cartoons are lighthearted and goofy based on Freakazoid, Mickey Mouse, Spongebob, and Bugs Bunny, when that simply isn't true. Some American animation is like that, sure, but then you've also got your shows like Batman the Animated Series, Justice League, or Spawn, and then you've got shows that fall anywhere inbetween. Japan is no different, for every Dragonball there's a Cowboy Bebop, for every Lucky Star there's an Outlaw Star, for every Gurren Lagann there's an Evangelion and everything inbetween.

And you forget that most anime that comes from manga are bad Draginball the anime is not as good as the manga.

But you are right and the fact is Mass Effect has tons of things I have seen in anime so it's not that far away from it.

But if they make it into a Super Robot anime I am fine with this.

Well they did put Mass Effect out in Japan as for random people on the internet most good(smart)anime forums like Mass Effect.

IMO...

I'm ALL for Mass Effect branching out to other media, I can't get enough of ME. BUT, why why why an anime? I can't stand anime, and I don't understand what the fad is with it. They already made an anime for Halo, and it was the worst thing that ever came out of the series. Couldn't they have made some other kind of film? As an actual animator, I can't stand the poor quality of animation that anime as a whole is comprised of. You can call it a style choice, but it's still horrendous animation. Not to mention, I don't really think the Japanese style of anime fits the ME world. It didn't work with Dead Space either. Ugh.

How could they ruin it? It isn't like the completely optional anime is going to make them change the art style of the games or anything. 

Having them make an anime and it be mediocre is better than them not making one at all.

Like Garrus tale as Archangel done by Madhouse or Mordin time in STG done by Studio 49 (I think thats what it called) or Anything that has to do with Thane done by bones. In case you notice Anything thats not the game has nothing to do with Sheperd. but if there making a series only two things I want Norio Wakamoto as Saren and either T.M revolution, or JAM project to do the theme music.

Now that's cool and all but I don't think they will make it like GK but we do need JAM project in this.

Funny thing is DAO plays just like Final Fantasy XII=] and if anyone hates on Dragon Ball and all the old names blame Walt Disney.
