I have to admit, a large part of me would be perfectly content if the Gurren Lagann team did it, it would be totally worth it to see Garrus piloting a giant badass Archangel mecha powered by pure manliness blowing up an entire armada of Reapers at once with his Infinity + 1 giant laser rifle.

If they pull off something even CLOSE to GitS: SAC with this it will be spectacular, truly. Also, they will be missing the worlds biggest opportunity to make it focus on FemShep.

By the way, is the comic that bad? I love JJM's other stuff so it's a shame if its just the art letting it down.

And this is why you shouldn't take your fanbase seriously.

But yeah, if it were done in same quality as Gainax does it's stuff, I'd hit it.

But the pessimist in me says that it's going to be same mediocre garbage as majority of Halo legends clips and those Dead Space animations.

The art styles of the Legends segments weren't bad, it's just that the writing sucked because they were working with a rather poorly defined universe.

I'm not really a fan at all of Dark Horse Comics. They have this really....adolescent art style. I want something more akin to any of the artists in The Sandman. The cover art I posted above, when I saw that, I think I spent 5 minutes staring at it, wondering if it was real.
