Enhanced Edition! and enriching DLC

1) Reused areas: squash them.
2) City improvements
- Allow options for Hawke to improve parts of the city as years/acts go by (more reasons to be the city Champion).
- Add more detail to the city.
3) Romances
Companions will not take the initiative for romance, or will only do so after a "hint" from the player. It's a game. Realistic or not, this would respect all player preferences.
4) Calibrate the awesome button
- Bloody explosions less frequent and coherent with skills used.
- More skill-related death blow animations.
- No more enemies appearing from thin air or jumping from impossible heights/places.
- Waves: more quality, less quantity.
5) Companion armor remake
Allow "imbuing" option (companion armor is now segmented while still unremovable).
Step 1) Player stumbles upon compatible armor piece for companion, with better stats.
Step 2) Player drags armor piece to correct section of companion armor.
Step 3) Message pops up: "Do you wish to imbue armor? Stats will be overwritten!"
Step 4) Player selects "Yes". New stats are imbued into companion armor. Source armor piece is "destroyed" in the process.
No more static upgrading.
6) More DA: Origins subsequences.
7) Psychic Quests
Add a board with those quests. Activate them on player selection. Hawke now knows what to look for and who to return to.
8) Darkspawn
Less squishy, more variety, more bad**** looking.
9) Runes
Runes can be retrieved. Player no longer worries about adding a good rune to a weapon / armor that will eventually become outdated. Player no longer is a rune "collector" and will instantly become a rune "user".
10) DLC: Lothering
Where it all began. Day to day life of the Hawke family before the escape. A prequel so that the player actually cares about the family.
11) DLC: Female Qunari Companion
Female... Qunari... companion. How awesome is that?

I would really like to know what went through the devs head when they came up with that partically idea. xD

CD projekt used million dollars in making enhanced edition to their game, and they got lots of goodwill for that. Anyone think Bioware would be willing to do the same? Personally I am somewhat cynical of that.
Qunari female companion sounds great btw!

Agreed. The Qun demands it!

I like most ideas, except really this one.

My guess would be "FUN". Isn't it hillarious every time it happens? This is what it's all about!

Codex entries/notes for "psychic quests" would also help remedy the issue (though part of me thought they already existed, but then I suppose there wouldn't have been an issue in the first place).

Is an improved edition that far-fetched? They recently unleashed a pretty cool promotion with DA2 + ME2, for whatever the reason. I would really love to tweak companion armor; my suggestion being the ability to use any other compatible gear in the game while preserving the original design. If I'm not mistaken, DC Universe Online did something analogous with armor customization.

I've no problem with your opinion. What really bothered me was this...

However, i hope theres an expansion that goes into the tevinter Imperium and the war with the Qunari and we can actually SEE some female Qunaris. How awesome would it be to meet the Ariqun (female) as the Champion who bested their Arishok in single combat?

I highly doubt you will ever see a female Qunari companion, it doesnt fit the lore...females arent seen as warriors, so they are restricted to priests or administrators.

It could be rebel femari qunari tal-vashok, I doubt they are as picky as qun are.

Yeah, i suppose thats true. But even then..in Act 3, Maraas would not let me hire him because i had a "title," so who knows.

Maraas wasn't exactly Tal-Vashok anymore though.

Disagree on runes. Think it's more sensible that they can't just be stripped off and that you have to think a bit more if you want to enchant wepons/armour
Disagree on romances too. Think it is good that companions initiate.

I think that its unrealistic to expect an enhanced edition. people would probably turn around and complain that bioware is trying to deceive them.
You're so very cynical, have some faith in humanity.

Considering that the Qunari have a rigid society that brain washes children from birth, I'm not sure how "awesome" a female Qunari would be considering Sten's many comments about the role of women in the first game. The fact that the males appear to be giants may indicate that the females would be, too, but that may NOT be the case. Plus, since the Qunari push specialized roles on their citizens, it is likely that all the Qunari we've seen are just the ones worthy of being the vanguard of their army and may NOT accurately reflect even the males as a whole. Unless you want to help a female Qunari set up a shop or something.
Since half of the qunari in DA2 are rebels they aren't very good with their brainwashing. There are concept art of female qunaris in net somewhere, they would make as good soldier as human at least.
