I think that its unrealistic to expect an enhanced edition. people would probably turn around and complain that bioware is trying to deceive them.

You're so very cynical, have some faith in humanity.

Given how people have persisted in trying to bring negativity to the forums by not shutting up about their "dislike" about the game, the only faith I have is that the same people who did that will continue to nurse their irrational vendetta against bioware.

I don't think that there has ever been a completely bug-free game, and I am willing to patiently wait for a patch.

How would you tell your dislike to Bioware then?

By saying nothing? I don't see how that would be more useful.

I would simply offer constructive feedback in a review, stating where I felt the game was judged and found wanting, why I felt that way, and how it could be changed. I would post my review ONCE. it is a disservice to the community to continue wailing and shouting, the Developers understand your point, and frankly fixating on your dislike isn't going to help your case, and it may come across as childish. granted, I don't know you personally, so I don't think you are a bad person, just someone who is frustrated and trying to express that.

@ Galad22 -- Even their rebels conform. The entire party of Qunari were disgraced, having lost the Tome of Koslon, and as a result they were stuck in a "pustule of a city." It is likely that even the Qunari who returned to Por Vollen with the Tome would be killed or forced to commit suicide for the four year exile. Only one Qunari became a mercenary, the other rebels kept starting fights with humans in the hope of dying in combat.

I didn't get the entertainment I wanted from the game. But I am getting it now from these forums, I doubt Bioware cares. So why should you?

Anyway this is going bit off topic so I apologise to op and stop here.

I doubt they become bandits for this reason. Or is there something in the game that backs this up?

Arishok called Kirkwall pustule of a city, not rebels.

A big sign that says, "Sorry, we rushed the hell out of this game and it's not as good as it should be."

People actually like the companions initiating? I hated that part. Sorry but I don't want someone to throw themselves at my PC. I find it irritating. It's easy enough to get things started if you (as the PC) want to.

I would just rather have the choice and not have to deal with someone being annoying and pestering me, especially if I am going to be stuck with that character for a time.

Great suggestions.

Codex entries/notes for "psychic quests" would also help remedy the issue (though part of me thought they already existed, but then I suppose there wouldn't have been an issue in the first place).

maybe a letter to hawke's estate/residence would remedy the psychic aspect.

Considering that the Qunari have a rigid society that brain washes children from birth, I'm not sure how "awesome" a female Qunari would be considering Sten's many comments about the role of women in the first game. The fact that the males appear to be giants may indicate that the females would be, too, but that may NOT be the case. Plus, since the Qunari push specialized roles on their citizens, it is likely that all the Qunari we've seen are just the ones worthy of being the vanguard of their army and may NOT accurately reflect even the males as a whole. Unless you want to help a female Qunari set up a shop or something.

Since half of the qunari in DA2 are rebels they aren't very good with their brainwashing. There are concept art of female qunaris in net somewhere, they would make as good soldier as human at least.

It's a shame that female Qunari wouldn't be able to engage in combat. It would be enriching to at least interact with one since so far we've only seen the males, and the female concept art they showed is very interesting.

I don't see why a female Tal Vashoth wouldn't be able to fight.

In terms of companions, my dream one would be a completely cynic, worn out, tired of everything and sarcastic nevarran dragonslayer. But I guess I´ll never get that and it´s fair.

I agree w/ the idea of an 'Enhanced Edition', primarily to 'fix' DA2 (as w/ most of the OP's ideas), but make it free (you know, like what that 'other' developer did).

That and they should release the updated toolset already.

I think it would be better if the Lothering origin was in the actual game rather than being only available as a DLC. A key aspect such as a background story is necessary for a game based on storytelling, hence why it shouldn't be a DLC. The Lothering origin should start when Varric starts telling Hawke's story. This would make players feel more attached to Carver, Bethany, even Mother.

11) DLC: Female Qunari Companion
Female... Qunari... companion. How awesome is that?

Agreed. The Qun demands it!

Their are none female Qunari worriors so how are you going to get one as a companion? The Qun is clear.

The exploding corpse, bodies falling apart and drop to the ground like lego blocks.

So bloody "LOL" everytime it happens.
I would really like to know what went through the devs head when they came up with that partically idea. xD

MOAR BLOOD = MOAR AWESOME!

That's what went through their head; along with cravings for potato chips and LOL cats.

OP....

I think you've been reading my mind! Excellent suggestions! Bioware, I hoped you'll at the very least consider this as an option. Instead of an expansion, create an enhanced edition and Lothering DLC. DA2 as it SHOULD have been!

All sound like pretty good ideas! Let's see, BioWare does have some DLC up their sleeve...

Yep, like "Alternate Appearance" pack's ala ME2. Which change the way your companions look...not really!!!! hahahahahah. Which we could do free in DA:O and ME1. Talk about money grab. And I'm still waiting for the real sequel to DA:O. Cause this ain't it, despite the 2 on the box.

An enhanced edition? Like the witcher? Sure I'm game. I like the vanilla game, glitches and bugs aside.
