Oh. You're gonna love it.
The part where a thresher maw supposedly attacks a Reaper and pulls it underground? That sounds a bit ridiculous. Thresher maws are big but Reapers are 2 kilometers long.

Not all Thresher Maws are equally large, and neither are all Reapers. From what I understand this happened on Tuchanka- Tuchanka has sort of a "folk legend" along the lines of "Loch Ness" about a gigantic Thresher Maw supposedly existing somewhere on/in the planet- whatever you want to call it.
Also, the Thresher maw ultimately does not appear entirely successful judging by the laser show, to my understanding it just takes the reaper by surprise and gets a brief hold of it.

It was mentioned in the article that a major part of the story would be uniting the species of the galaxy against the Reapers.Just like I predicted during the ****storm of ME2 complainingSo it was pretty much decided that you would be going back to Tuchanka sooner or later.
Wrex has a confirmed 'appearance.' BioWare is being cheeky about who gets a permanent squad role and who gets an occasional squad position and who gets only a cameo, but everyone is supposed to be returning in some capacity, say BioWare. Provided they didn't bite it, of course.
interesting
Quite. /monocle
did you read the part on the krogan train?
I'm guessing they meant either:
A) a wagon train but with spaceships,

What, Liara is a confirmed squadmate? Doesn't she have another huge position in which she would be far more helpful? I hope this is either not true or very well explained in the game.

11/12/2010 - Photo Revives Debate Over Tuchanka's "Colossal Thresher Maw"
“A photo taken by Clan Ravanor miners during a drilling operation on the krogan homeworld of Tuchanka is reigniting debate on the existence of a colossal thresher maw. The photo, now being viewed widely on the extranet, adds to a long line of evidence that skeptics call an old and treasured hoax -- and believers call irrefutable proof. For centuries, krogan settlements bordering Tuchanka's deserts have told stories of entire clans swallowed by this colossal thresher maw. While locals claim the ancient creature is real, no outside sources have confirmed the beast's existence.”

Yeah, I've read the CDN article
And if we want to get pedantic, "colossal" doesn't specify exactly how large that thresher was supposed to be. it could be 10 times the size of any thresher Shepard has seen, which could be called colossal, and that still wouldn't be big enough to pull a 2 kilometer long ship out of the sky.

But the part about VS,Liara and that new guy as confirmed squadmates made me worried. I pray there is 15 or more squad members in ME3. I don't want ME1 squad again, I like ME2 squad waaay better.
I will so hate if one of my ME2 squaddies is replaced with that Alliance-loyal idiot. Horizon was unforgivable, and even new awesome boobjob won't make me like Ash ever again. Yes, she looks a lot better than she used to, but it won't rehabilitate her for Horizon. And I will go as renegade on her as possible. She won't get a single good word from me.
I don't mind adding new members to the party, but please, don't turn ME2 squaddies into NPCs for the sake of VS/Liara/new characters! It's the final chapter, after all, there is no hope of getting them back next game:(

I hope the mention about the Illusive man being out to get shepard is a mistake. It wouldn't make sence to spend that much money to bring him back and then be out to kill him. His the best hope for humanity to servive what has changed in a few months. Not only tht but it does make the choice at the end of ME2 a bit pointless.
Actually it makes perfect sense.
TIM needed Shep to achieve a specific objective, and he beleived that the fate of humanity and possible all existence as he knew it was at stake. In that context money is totally meaningless. TIM could play fiscal conservative and watch the Reapers destroy galactic civilization; in which case money becomes totally meaningless anyway; or TIM could spare no expense to get any kind of edge he could against the Reapers. Now if TIM believes that Shep served his purposes, or that something about Shep's resurrection would someohow come back on Cerebus, then yeah, TIM would have no problem kacking Shep. Shep was never TIM ally, just a tool to be used.
On another note, I am glad TIM will get to play a large role in the finale. Can't wait.

What's sad is that Liara now looks the ugliest of the LI from ME1. The scan from GI makes it appear that Liara doesn't even look as good as her LOTSB model.
ooh boo hoo I'm sure she'll look fine, nice to see ashley looks nice though and possibly with a few "enhancements"
