One of the most epic endings I could think of would be to have me and my Mass Effect 1 squad finish this adventure together, but to never return...to never bask in the glory of what we accomplished. We met as strangers discovering this ancient threat...let's die as friends as we save Organic life once and for all. The final sacrifice.

That would go down as....man...I cant wait for Mass Effect 3. It's gonna be better than I hoped, I can feel it!

I try hard not to put too much weight in feelings, but yes, that feeling is hard to escape. With the information we've got now it feels as if the only thing that could ruin it for me is Miranda reduced to a cameo or less. If it is a really good and extended scene and she has a good off-screen story arc, perhaps not even that.

Guy posted in the gamefaq that the Normandy SR-2 gets taken apart. This pretty much confirms, if that is indeed the case, that we're getting a Normandy SR-3.

Do like everything I read. Except Ashleys new look.
Always liked her "non-fancy" simple look with her tied back (whats the word? not a native speaker ) hair. It suited her "soldier attiude" very well. In contrast for example Miranda.  As said, they now kinda look the same. Maybe thats why the hair color changed magically (she doesn't seem to be the kind of person who dyes her hair. As said: fancy stuff) so Shepard doesn't mix them up?

Maybe Liara is green in ME3?

People should not make assumptions that people have played some addional content. (DLC). Point is if those DLC explain something between ME2 and ME3, that's great. But start of ME3 should not leave people cold, who haven't played those DLC's. Meaning it has to make sense too for them too.

You get the SR2 back with some"alliance modifications"

This. BioWare need to save some reveals/surprises for E3 and possibly GamesCon. People shouldn't panic. They have annouced Garrus has a sqauddie yet he can die in ME 2, why not Miranda etc etc..

Another guy in the gamefaq forum claims he got a copy and it stated that the SR-2 is taken apart by the Alliance who pretty much want the tech in it.

There's only been like one guy giving out all this information prior.  Also if this is the same guy then he's also on the Bioware forums too.  His username is:PnXMarcin1PL on Bioware Social and Dr_Lepper on gamefaqs .  If not, then there are two separate people in two separate forums claiming the same thing, the Alliance takes control of the Normandy to study it.
